Fiance visas: Baltimore and the rest of Maryland are under the jurisdiction of the USCIS Vermont Service Center (VSC). The first step in the fiance visa process is submitting the petition to the Dallas Lockbox. The lockbox accepts the petition and forwards it to the Vermont Service Center for further processing.
Fiance visas: Houston and the rest of Texas are under the jurisdiction of the USCIS California Service Center (CSC). The lockbox accepts the petition and forwards it to the California Service Center for further processing. Presently the CSC is approving well prepared petitions in approximately 2-4 months.
