Experienced and educated teachers design programming to meet the needs and goals of each child. Growing Places sets itself apart through an understanding that the core of early education is in the development of healthy and trusting relationships between children, teachers and parents. Children learn best when there is a strong partnership between home and school.

We value open and honest communication, and we work to build nurturing and trusting partnerships with families. Our teachers see the unlimited potential in each child and recognize the opportunity and responsibility we have to help children build a strong foundation for future success. Growing Places Teachers understand that every moment matters: their interactions are respectful and responsive, validating children's feelings.
Services
Our wonderful community is made up of families, alumni, business owners, and area residents that understand the importance of the role early childhood education plays in our world. Our community supporters help us in many ways: by providing financial gifts, recommending our services to friends, volunteering their time and talents to help Growing Places, and helping us plan for the sustainability of our mission in the future.
Growing Places provides learning situations that are flexible, developmentally appropriate, child-centered, and mindful of differences and individuality. Provide programming based on cognitive, language, social/emotional, and physical goals for each child's development. Model and encourage the development of healthy and trusting relationships amongst children and the world around them.
TimberNook is an outdoor program that offers all children therapeutic benefits through creative outdoor play. Our programs integrate sensory experiences, imagination, and nature. We inspire kids to play, learn, and explore through stories, games, and unique experiences. Unfortunately Growing Places is unable to offer Timbernook programming for the Summer of 2021, but we are looking forward to seeing you all in the woods soon!.
WAYS TO BECOME MORE INVOLVED AT GROWING PLACES:Volunteer opportunities for one time projects at Growing Places can include: committee work on a special event, spring clean up on our playgrounds, small maintenance projects, or sharing a hobbie with a group of children. Additionally, at times we have openings that create the opportunity for ongoing volunteerism as member of our Board of Directors.
Through our comprehensive childcare services, Growing Places provides early childcare, education and recreation daily to 150 children at three locations. Our two early childhood locations are in Durham, NH and Lee, NH while our school-age program operates at Moharimet Elementary School in Madbury, NH.

Took great care of both of our kiddos. Great balance of fun and nature based learning.
