Absolute Trees is locally owned and operated by Troy Hopkins. Troy originally relocated to Charleston when the United States Air Force stationed him here in Charleston. While serving Troy was one of the early mechanics to work on the C-17 airplane you often see flying over the Lowcountry. After completing his service Troy decided to make Charleston his home.

Whether you are in need of trimming, palm care, removals or emergency storm clean up, you can trust that Absolute Trees will get the job done in a safe and timely manner.
Preservation of trees is important and should always be considered when possible, but there are many instances when a tree must be removed. A tree may be hazardous due to structural deficiencies, a lightning strike or may need to be removed due to space considerations. Their roots may be threatening a foundation or invading plumbing, there may be issues of tree illnesses or death, the tree may become a liability rather that an asset.
Trees need trimming for a variety of reasons. Branches may be encroaching upon buildings, power lines, driveways, walkways and roadways. Trees often block desirable views, sunlight and visibility while entering roadways. Proper trimming can reduce weight and thickness that may threaten a trees ability to withstand wind and ice.
Does your hurricane readiness plan include tree care? Charleston coastal weather brings wind and rain and can often cause damage to trees and woodlands. Storms can cause weak branches to rip trees apart. Trees with shallow root systems or decay become vulnerable and may blow over or break off at the ground.
Once a storm or hurricane rolls through and leaves its mark, home and property owners are left to deal with the aftermath. It can be overwhelming whether your trees are now unsightly or they have actually come down. Instead of taking on this dangerous and difficult task yourself, rely on a professional tree service company to do it safely and efficiently.

My firm owns property on Isle of Palms and we needed some emergency storm cleanup and a friend recommended Troy. I called him and he was pretty booked up but he agreed to get a crew to my place and they did an awesome job of cleaning up two fallen trees and when they left it was almost as if the trees were never there. Great work guys! I highly recommend them.
