The En Pointe Dance Company in Cornelius, NC was established by Lauren Robbins. Lauren started dancing at the age of three and fell in love immediately. Since then, it has been her dream to open her own dance studio and pass her love of dance along to others. With years of hard work and a Bachelor's Degree in Dance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, her dream is finally becoming a reality.

Welcome to the 2021/2022 En Pointe Dance Company's Competition Team. For the dancer who loves to perform, our competition program provides an opportunity to learn, grow, perform and compete. Team activities include competing in dance competitions and performing at other venues during the year. A competition team requires a higher level of commitment from both the dancer and the dancer's family than the average dance class.

Lauren is so good at teaching students the correct way to dance, but most importantly, she is so positive and encouraging. She makes it a lot of fun. I coached the dance team at my school, and she came to help choreograph and teach the girls our dance number. The girls on the team absolutely loved her. She was such a good role model for them, and they learned a lot from her. I highly recommend her and her dance studio!!
