We focus on learning by allowing our children to learn through play while incorporating a theme-based curriculum to make learning enjoyable for our children. Each of our programs are tailored to target the areas for each of our age groups. Our curriculum is based on a theme-based curriculum that allows for a learning through play approach for toddlers and a more structured approach for our preschoolers aged threes and fours.
Our curriculum is adjusted when needed to ensure that 'no child is left behind'. We hire staff with years of experience and/or education to ensure that our staff is fully equipped to nurture and care for our children as they learn, explore, experiment, and make BIG MESSES! Services
We aim to create a warm and welcoming environment for both our parents and children where our children are given ample opportunities to explore, learn, and grow. Our children will function independently but cooperatively, following routines appropriate to each age group. Children are encouraged to develop a positive self-image, to learn inner controls, and to cooperate with their peers and caregivers.
First Steps Learning Center's Infant Program focuses on good care with trained infant givers who are preparing themselves and the environment so that infants can learn and explore through play. We explore ways to help infant care teachers get "in tune" with each infant they serve and learn from the individual infant what he or she needs.
Our teachers are nurturers as well as educators, someone who encourages learning through exploration, and who understands the balance between what a child needs to feel safe and what she requires to reach her potential. Your child's teacher is your partner. At First Steps Learning Center, families and teachers work together --celebrating successes, navigating challenges, and communicating daily about your child's achievements and goals.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Staff turnover is ridiculous. The playground is nothing but concrete and like 3 slides and a few trikes. And the “healthy nutritious” meals they provide aren’t enough to feed a bird. My friend’s child went here and every time they picked the child up, the child complained of hunger. The child also would come home saying someone yelled at them several times a month ( this was also witnessed at pickup twice). They do not handle complaints in a professional manner but will instead insist your child is lying. And don’t even think they will allow
