My favorite part of being a photographer is seeing that exact moment where every client becomes comfortable and confident and lets loose and just becomes free. By the end of the session everyone is smiling and laughing. There is nothing better than being a part of that! I love seeing people laugh. My favorite thing to photograph is those in between moments, when you are being real.

I'm Katrina, a wedding and boudoir photographer in Arizona. I am an Arizona Native and am so glad to be back after 18 years of moving around the country. I am a mom of 3, teenagers, 1 is in college already, and our house is a small zoo. I absolutely love Hiking, Yoga, kayaking, Camping, and Horseback riding.

I absolutely loved my experience with Beyond the Mask Photography. She has the most beautiful studio set up, super private yet extremely comfortable and classy. But not only is the set up amazing so is Katrina (the photographer). You think your shoot is going to be super awkward and Katrina will make you feel the exact opposite, she will make you feel so comfortable that you are laughing with her. She loves what she does and it truly shows in her work and the time you spend with her.

Katrina is amazing! I did a boudoir shoot with her and she made me feel very comfortable. I had a ton of fun and enjoyed her energy. I have also worked with her on professional portraits and she came to my company to do our business photos. They turned out wonderful. She is such a treat to work with!

Not only am I impressed with Katrina's photography, but her philanthropy as well! She donates her time to local pet rescues and photographs the pets at no charge to the non-profit. She has a keen eye that catches the essence of whomever she is capturing with her camera! Would recommend her for any photography needs!
