Doug has over 25 years of experience in public accounting and personal financial planning. He graduated from Rockhurst College with a B.S.B.A. in accounting in 1983. He is licensed as a C.P.A. in both Missouri and Kansas and holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the AICPA. Doug earned his Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation in 1988.

Jackie graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in political science from Creighton University in Omaha in 1988.

As noted earlier, Heartland Wealth Advisors, LLC, developed out of ongoing requests from Woodward, Hunt accounting clients for investment advisor recommendations.
