Dr. Mika was born and raised in Michigan. After high school, he attended the University of Michigan and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He attended dental school at the University of Detroit Mercy where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation, he worked as a general dentist before returning to school to obtain a specialty degree in the field of orthodontics.

Absolute best orthodontist office. Always a happy and welcoming environment. Staff is always so polite and sweet. Dr. Mika is always patient, understanding and kind to all of my kiddos. Staff, especially Amy and Missy along with Dr. Mika are extra amazing to my kiddo who is sometimes hard to communicate with. Highly highly recommend.

Mika Orthodontics has the best orthodontist and staff. The ladies do fantastic job taking care of patients and making everyone feel welcome. Dr Mika is so cheerful and always has a warm greeting for all his patients and their families. Both Dr Mika and the staff thoroughly explain the process of treatments so that it's easy to understand. We appreciate you guys so much!

Very kind friendly staff & Orthodontist! They even Helped me with my 2 little ones while I talked with Dr. Mika about what plan would work best for me.
I will be bringing one of my daughters to him soon for orthodontic treatment as well. I'm excited to have a comfortable environment for her to go to!

My daughter is making amazing improvements with her bite. Dr. Mika, Amy and Rena are friendly and accommodating. They make my daughter, and us, feel comfortable. We can stand right next to Chloe while they work on her and not feel like we are in the way. We love it here. Our insurance does not cover Dr. Mika' s office, so we chose to pay out of pocket just to work with them!

We can't say enough about Mika Orthodontics! Dr. Mika and his staff are awesome! They are great with kids and super accommodating with appointments for crazy school and sports schedules. If your child needs orthodontic work, you can trust Dr. Mika to take care of you and make sure it's done right. I would not go anywhere else. Highly recommend!👍
