Our practice blends technical skill, artistry and a holistic approach to dental health in order to provide exceptional care for our patients. We are a boutique practice, which means that when you have an appointment you will always see Dr. Bacopoulou and you won't find a crowded waiting room of other patients booked when you are.

At Carnegie Dental Wellness you will receive highly personalized, patient centered care. Of course, a successful visit to the dentist is also determined by the care with which you are treated, and our staff will make this a priority. We are here to meet all the dental care needs you and your family may have, from routine exams and cleanings to reconstructive and cosmetic procedures, which are our specialty.
Services
General dentistry includes the preventive, diagnostic, and restorative dental treatments that keep your teeth and gums healthy. We take a holistic approach to dentistry, with the belief that your dental health and your overall health are closely connected. An oral examination is a visual inspection of the mouth, head, and neck, performed to detect abnormalities.
Dr. Bacopoulou received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2006 from New York University College of Dentistry and has been in private practice ever since. Dr. Bacopoulou went well beyond the mandatory educational requirements most dentists complete. After graduating from dental school she completed several year-long and two-year long fellowships in aesthetic and implant dentistry.
Our office specializes in Cosmetic Dentistry. This means that we not only pay attention to the health and function of your teeth, but we also pay close attention to aesthetics. We want you to maintain great oral health but we also want you to have a beautiful smile and the confidence to smile often!
Our goal is always to help our patients maintain their oral health and to care for and protect their natural teeth. Maintaining oral health involves the examination, identification and treatment of diseases of the teeth, the surrounding tissues (gums), and the supporting structures (bone). Even with excellent care, however, teeth and gums can be susceptible to disease, infection, cavities, cracks, or other forms of damage.
Your gums are just as important as your teeth when it comes to good oral health-in fact, without healthy gums, you can't have healthy teeth. Untreated periodontal disease eventually results in teeth that start to become loose, shift in your mouth, and sometimes even fall out. This is why we look for early signs of gum disease when you come in for your routine dental evaluations.

When I had to find a new dentist, due to a new insurance plan, I was upset... But then I found Dr. Bacopoulou! What a LUCKY 'find' it was, indeed!
I have been going to her for several years now, and I could not be more pleased. She is an excellent dentist, and a really nice person, too! The entire staff at her office is extremely professional, superbly organized, and also warm and welcoming.
I have never had to sit in the waiting room more than 10 minutes (and usually much less) to be seen by Dr. Bacopoulou. In addition, when I have called with a problem, I have been fit into the busy office schedule
