We are a local acupuncture practice that serves the Hanover and greater Richmond communities. We offer hope to patients who've been told they have no other options, with a powerful, natural approach to health, pain relief, and disease management. To help people attain restoration, movement, wellness, and quality of life through the natural, effective, time-tested means of acupuncture.
Acupuncture is a safe, effective medical treatment with origins over 5,000 years old. A treatment consists of hair-thin needles inserted into specific points on the body, based on the patient's condition. Most people find the needling painless and become quite relaxed or even fall asleep. An acupuncture treatment may also be supplemented with other therapeutic modalities, such as e-stim, moxibustion, or herbs.
Lindsey Rushmore has changed my life! During my acupuncture treatments I was the healthiest I have been in my life and attend amazing results. I was diagnosed with arthritis in my neck 20 years ago and have been living in pain, which has exacerbated as the years rolled on. It was so severe I had trouble concentrating on anything else.
Our new patient consult is an evaluation of your current health concern in light of your lifestyle and medical history. Patients fill out a detailed health history ahead of time, we discuss your unique case, perform necessary diagnostic evaluations, set goals and expectations, and determine the best plan for you.
Each case is unique and requires a different mix of therapies/number of treatments. Therefore, the cost of a treatment plan will vary per person. Call us to schedule a new patient consult ($150) where we will evaluate your case, discuss your goals, do appropriate diagnostic testing, and determine if acupuncture is a good fit for you.

Lindsey Rushmore is incredibly effective and will be straight up about what she can do for you. I have had neck pain for over 20 years. I suffered from chronic pain at multiple points of my body for all of my adult life. Since receiving treatment from Dr. Lindsey over the last 1 1/2 years, I have graduated to a maintenance program and look forward to my appointments every 3 weeks, or so. And, I am enjoying my almost pain-free, active lifestyle at my senior age between appointments. I can't say enough good about my experience.

I was one that thought acupuncture was only for "those" people. I took my wife to Dr. Rushmore and the results were incredible to say the least. The ER only took time and money to say, you're not dying, but we can't help. She is the REAL deal, would recommend without question. If you don't go, that's on you. She is awesome!

I completely enjoyed my first ever acupuncture experience under Lindsey’s care. Any anxiety I had about needles entering my skin were quickly vanquished within the first 5 minutes. Lindsey provides an amazing service. She helped me with chronic neck pain that I’ve had for over thirty years when nothing else has worked. Has also helped with some other ailments that have popped up along the way. The process is completely pain free.
