Although we refer to adult teeth as "permanent, " extractions are sometimes necessary. Our dentists know that patients are more comfortable with the idea of extractions in a familiar setting. The University Dental team handles the majority of extractions at their office in Middletown, without referring patients out to a different provider.
More than 35 million Americans have no natural teeth, a condition most prevalent in seniors and the underprivileged. Unfortunately, many of them will suffer with dentures that look artificial, rub sore spots, slip, or wobble. The dentists at University Dental in Middletown have solutions that fit your mouth, budget, and lifestyle.
Have you lost several teeth due to advanced gum disease, trauma, or extractions? You may be tempted to have the rest removed and get dentures. That is a reasonable plan in some situations, and the team at University Dental is well-qualified to handle it. However, there can be great advantages to keeping as many of your natural teeth as you are able, for as long as possible.

Very RUDE! They never get back to you! Also I had called up to the office and asked if they had a sooner cleaning appointment and the lady said “I MIGHT have one tomorrow, I’ll put you in at 10:30am just in case it does open up
& I’ll also call and leave a message and let you know”
Well come the next morning I never received a message stating the 10:30am appointment was verified so I did not go in! & I called them around noon asking if anything has changed and if they had any openings today and I have them my name and information and they proceeded to tell me “Uhmnn you have been discharged

They never answer the phone. I’ve called about 20 times and nothing. They rescheduled my daughter’s appointment for a month later- take her out of school to show up and they didn’t have her an appointment. We are going else where

Completely rude. Let lots of people coughing in the lobbies but kicks people out for “rules” that have not been posted on website or in office. No rules written on paper, no rules posted on website, no rules posted on the door or walls, no rules were told were in place before being seen. Treat people like children.. worse than I wouldn’t treat my own child with this disrespect. Also if you’re going to respond don’t give me a generic response that you have given all the other reviews on here do not tell me that I cannot post about my case in a public forum do not tell me that I can contact

What's the point of making an appointment if the day of the appointment is cancelled all because I missed a call to confirm ? I thought that's what you make the appointment for. In other hands this appointment was made the 9th of August, so I waited this long for my scheduled date September 30 at 11:30am to have 3 teeth taking out. I called them as soon as they open at 10:00am just to confirm the time again and who ever answered the phone told me to call back at 1:30pm because my appointment is no longer available. Lol Nice!!!!
Update: I call back exactly 1:30pm no answer so I leave a message

This place is very welcoming, I didn't expect a dental office can be very friendly. Rachelle a dental assistant is super nice, everybody else also equally wonderful. I'm happy I found a best dental office for me and my family.

Everyone is great! It’s the best dentist I’ve been to in 20 years. You may have to wait a while to be seen but it’s totally worth it. They make you feel like one of the family.

This practice gets ZERO stars! I had one tooth pulled, then a second tooth pulled later only because the 1st extraction was pulled so deeply it caused the second tooth to become loose. Now a third tooth is loose and I've found a new dentist. I've had severe pain ever since and the practice never offered me relief! The office sent me a letter saying I used disruptive language (which I DID NOT)! I got along just fine with their staff! It was the dentist that was rude and I told her I would not be back!

Please stay clear of University Dental!! I had a tooth extracted but I was back within a week because the tooth that was pulled caused the tooth next to it loose. I had to have that tooth pulled. Once the second tooth was pulled, I went back in because of severe pain and receding in gums, and third tooth next to the second also became loose. 😫
The female dentist that originally pulled the first tooth (the second tooth was extracted by a very nice male dentist) saw me about the third loose tooth, had a condescending manner. I asked her if I absolutely needed 3rd tooth pulled, gave me no other

Great dentist. All of the staff are very friendly and make you feel more than comfortable. Most of my life I've had anxiety and been afraid of the dentist which caused me a lot of problems in the long run but I made that call and went to University Dental and they understood my fear and they actually took it into consideration which helped me a lot. They are great at what they do and they care about their patients. 10/10 recommend

Run. Run fast and far, far, FAR AWAY from this place. Long story short- I was told I had a "severe abscess" when they took xrays. The dr looked at me for less than a minute, determined I needed a filling and a crown. Fine. I asked about the infection and an antibiotic. I was told "rinse with warm salt water. You'll be fine." They charged me $525 for nitrous and a temp crown. Still no antibiotic. I called 3 times to complain about pain and and antibiotic after the temp crown and filling. I was told they were busy and I couldn't get in until my appointment for the permanent
