Brazos Recovery Services is located just 90 miles south of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Our center is within a quarter-mile of the stunning Lake Whitney, which is surrounded by rural communities and Army Corp of Engineers' parks and lands.

Although our campus was intentionally built in the country for the benefit of our residents' mental and physical well-being, we are just a short drive to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, where the majority of our clients are picked up and brought to our facility for treatment. The well-being of our clients' loved ones is important to us too - we have seen firsthand the worry, and disruption addiction can cause to the families left behind.
Services
We are a long-term residential, all male, drug and alcohol recovery center nestled between the stunning lakeside of the Brazos River and the scenic countryside. We offer actual twelve step immersion (not a mere introduction), peer accountability, and a community-driven environment creating a setting conductive for a spiritual experience necessary for long-term sobriety.
We know that finding the right treatment center is a daunting and challenging process. With so many options on offer, choosing the right one for you or your loved one's recovery can be overwhelming. We understand that this is a pivotal moment for you and where you choose to recover from your drug or alcohol addiction is an important and life-changing decision.

If I could put 10 stars on here, I would. In the summer of 2014, this place and all of the people who work there helped save my life. They showed me a better way of life by teaching me about the solution to my problem and what actions I needed to take to recover. It works- it really does. God Bless Brazos!

My brother was referred to this place after being admitted to a psychiatric hospital, and my parents were assured Brazos was the best rehab program available to their son. Given the circumstances they believe a psychiatrist would at the very least be readily available to their son and others as needed. However, despite my brother’s private insurance he was only permitted to see a psychiatrist at $500 a session (private pay only), he could not afford that. Instead, this place refers to the symptoms of mental illness as a “spiritual-malady”. Thank god he found professional help at the VA a

Brazos Recovery Services holds an extremely special place in my heart as, on 05/20/2015 I entered this facility a broken and beaten man. After multiple attempts at recovery in more traditional treatment settings, Brazos opened my eyes to what quality treatment actually looks like. The staff is knowledgeable, caring, kind, funny, and genuinely give of themselves so that men like myself can find a new way of living. I am about to, God willing, celebrate 6 years of freedom. Not a day has passed in those near-six years that I do not think about my revolutionary experience at Brazos. "Set me up nasty

It's hard to put into words what this place means to me. Before I checked to Brazos, I was completely broken and ready to give up on life. What they taught me about recovery, sobriety, and how to obtain these two things changed my entire life. I would have never thought my life could be so good and I could be sober. Every blessing I have today is a direct result from the care, love, and knowledge I received at Brazos Recovery Services. I think if more rehabs ran a program like this, there would be higher recovery rates for addicts. Thank you Brazos staff for everything you do and everything you

Brazos Recovery Services played a major role in saving my life in 2016 when I was a client. I was provided with a treatment experience that allowed me to see the causes and conditions of my disease, and I left with a spiritual tool kit that gave me a real shot at repairing relationships and living clean and sober in the real world. Today, I am a proud alumni and employee of Brazos and hope to provide the same opportunity to future patients of BRS.

Brazos was the first program that did not gloss over or make pretty recovery for the families sake. The counselors were the real deal and met addiction head on. It was by far the best program I've seen results . All men program was also a plus . Reading the other reviews I could see the ones not liking the program were not interested in getting clean. It's basic , not fancy but addicts don't need fancy they need dedicated staff that can meet addicts where they are & show them a road to recovery .

I've never seen a treatment center staff that cared so much about its clients than Brazos Recovery.
They have a solid clinical team, 12-step/Big Book orientated, and the food is A+. I highly recommend this place to anyone that has a drinking or drug problem. They specialize in hard cases/chronic relapsers. Most places I've been to, it's all about the money. Not Brazos. Here, it's all about getting men to recover from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body. And you don't have to be a millionaire to afford it.

Don't know where to begin. This place is a life saver in every sense of the word. From the recovery advocates, the counselors, the clinical team, the intake reps, nursing staff and upper management; words can not describe the amount of care, compassion, tolerance, and professionalism displayed day in and day out by these folks. Absolute class act at its highest level. I arrived spiritually bankrupt, and left happy, joyous, and free. Thank you to the entire Brazos team for saving my life. I know without a doubt where to send those in need of help with addiction issues. It's not even a thought, it

Easily one of the best treatment centers in Texas. Brazos and the staff here are close to my heart. This was the first treatment center where I heard a message of recovery with depth and weight that got me invested in actually staying sober and working an effective program of recovery. This is not your cliche rehab where you sit in pointless groups making macaroni pictures, get acupuncture, and fill out “drugs are bad” packets, people actually get well here. The staff are dedicated to what they do day in and day out. I know many people who have been through Brazos who have years of sobriety

I have heard people say Brazos is the last treatment center stop for most people. While I understand their point, I respectfully disagree. In fact, I'll bet Brazos is actually the first treatment center for most. Admittedly I have been to many "treatment" centers, and I have had field trips, massages, acupuncture, wildly fun field trips, and I have studied feelings and even triggers. I learned a great deal, and I tried with all of my might to use this newfound knowledge to conquer my alcoholism and drug addiction, with no success. You see, until I went to Brazos, I was never given the chance to
