Supreme Seafood Restaurant

Their food is very satisfying every time we visit.
Big proportions!
We live an hour away and visit at least 2 times a year.

Today I visited Supreme Seafood Restaurant and I am very happy I did!

In my opinion, the restaurant inside is pretty reminiscent of a small, cozy, seafood joint by the sea (just to be clear, it is not on the water). It was definitely the place to be for lunch, that's for sure!

I got a bowl of the lobster bisque. Oh. My. Goodness. While I thought the bisque was much too thin for a bisque, the flavor was OUTSTANDING and the lobster was perfect. I could have eaten that all day. Yum yum. If you get nothing else, GET THE LOBSTER BISQUE.

Fried Shrimp dinner was very good and fresh, better than it used to be cooked a couple years ago; not greasy at all! There are less fries in the dinners than there used to be but you get like 15 large shrimp. Lobster bisq is very good. Just ask them not to put the cocktail/tarter sauce cups inside the takeaway box because the plastic lids melt.

I was lucky enough to visit this gem while on vacay. By far the best fried whole clams I have ever eaten. The place is super cute and everyone is very friendly. I will definitely be back!

Best seafood ever!!! Great customer service. I regretfully just found this gem in April and I go at least twice a month. Large variety, I always get the supreme combo. I can never finish it! I suggest that you eat the food there. I recommend this place all the time! The owner is pleasant and extremely personable. I'll be back soon!!

Went to Supreme Seafood today for lunch and I've been there many times. Never did a review because I was too hungry and ready to eat. LOL
I love their seafood because its always fresh and the portions are fantastic.
All I can say if you want fresh and leftovers GO.
Everything on the menu is very good.

OMG look what Ralph cooked for me. This is no joke. Even the tomato's look like they came from a local garden. The price is right for what you get. Very friendly staff and truly great soft shell crabs. I drove 44 minutes to eat here and I was floored with everything. Thanks Supreme Seafood I will see you again soon. The gas's prices on route 80 are so cheap its an added bonus to eat more food!! Make the trip on empty tanks and you will be happy you did.

I have been here 4 times now in the last 2 years, and this is my all time favorite fried seafood spot. Nothing I have tried comes anywhere near the quality and value of this food. The portions are insane, I can feed my family of 4 with one of their seafood platters. Food is always fresh, and the you can tell they keep their oil clean. Wish I lived closer because I would come here all the time!

Consistently delicious. My favorite is fillet of sole and my husband loves clam strips and fried shrimp. Onion rings to die for. Prices are reasonable and service is great

I believe one of the hidden gems in seafood on the shorline. Today we had Softshell Crab, Fried Oysters and Clam Strips. Needless to say they EXCELLENT!!!

The best and the freshest seafood anywhere! I had an order of a fried whole belly clam roll closed my eyes and it felt like summer at the shore!

The food was delicious. I got the fried seafood supreme w/ whole belly clams. The preperation time was quick, and you get a lot for the price. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was for the price, I would think they would have taken the shells off of the shrimp's tails.

I can't believe I never reviewed Supreme Seafood! It's located in a location next to a deli and pastry shop. During Covid they are only allowing to people in their counter line at a time and only 2 people per table. We went on a Sunday night and were impressed. Great little fast casual seafood restaurant in N. Branford. We had the roasted corn chowder and split the supreme lunch platter. Food was fabulous and attentive service.

Excellent food had the supreme combo lunch which offer a huge assortment of scallops, fried clams, shrimp, calamari, and some very tasty fish. Served on a large stack of steak fries and a larger side of Cole slaw, tarter and cocktail sauce. The food was very fresh no freezers here. My 20 year old son an I shared one huge Lunch and had enough left over for a nice snack later on. We sat outside at a picnic table but there was indoor seating as well all done with plenty of space in between tables. Supreme Seafood's portions are huge! I usually order the fried combination platter and can eat off of it for a couple of meals. This time I ordered the fried shrimp platter. The seafood is always fresh. My husband and youngest daughter do not like seafood, but enjoyed their steak & cheese and chicken sandwiches. Plus, my husband loves their french fries and my daughter kicked hers up by adding Cajun seasoning to her fries. My older daughter loves the fried clams. I have never had a bad meal here. My 2nd time coming here and they have yet to disappoint. The lobster roll always fresh and meaty!! Better than majority I have tasted. The supreme casserole was awesome!! Everything was homemade and they said it was going to take about 25 mins to make. Without hesitation I said not a problem. We got it without shrimp and substituted more scallops. The breading has great amount of spices and flavor! The taste was something you cannot forget! I would just drive there from jersey to get the dishes. Awesome food and service!!

My parents kept telling me how good Supreme was so I finally decided to go with my dad. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We dined in and everything was clean, plastic utensils used and individual cups of ketchup and other condiments. I personally love this as I felt comfortable eating there amid this pandemic.

As far as the food, delicious! The lobster roll was overflowing and the bread was not soggy from the butter. The fries were crispy and hot and I even enjoyed the coleslaw since it wasn't swimming in mayo.

What everyone says, in superlatives, is true...
This was a Friday lunch and our first time there. We got there before noon and were first ones there. They quickly almost filled up. They had quite a bit of to go orders happening, too.
Fried food was amazing and not tasting of oil nor was it greasy. Scallops were sweet and perfectly, "not overcooked"! Same for big, chunky fries. Clam chowder may be the best I've had. Clam strips were great.
Owners, very friendly and nice.
Highly recommend. It is BYOB.

My family and I have been frequent patrons of Supreme Seafood. From the first day they opened the quality of their food has never wavered. If you follow my recommendations and have not tasted the best seafood around take a trip to North Branford and experience it. Its why there called Supreme !

Great soups here! My husband and I stopped by here during our drive back to nyc from Boston. We got the soup bowls: clam chowder, lobster bisque, and the special clear clam chowder. The clam chowder and bisque tasted homemade and original. The clear clam chowder was different but in a good way with great broth.
For the main we got a lobster roll, clam strips, and whole clams. My husband thought that the lobster was a bit too over done which made the lobster tougher than what we've had elsewhere. I like the clam strips and bellies fine, but they give so much food. It's a plate of fried

Came in for lunch. Nice small "mom &pop" type place. Friendly staff. Good menu. Ordered the clear chowder. It was very good. Nice and hot too. I had the foot long dog with cheese and chilly. It was good. Wife had the fish sandwich. A good amount of fish. She liked it. Prices a little high but you do get what you pay for. Got a free refill on a tea. Bathroom is in the back but didn't use. Solid 4 plus place.

No words can describe how fresh and delicious this meal was for me! I could submerge myself into the ocean with every taste of my fried scallops. I haven't tasted fresh like this since my father went clamming and I ate the clams out of the shell. Let me tell you about the sweet potato fries. Just the perfect amount of crunch.
