Very happy with my first visit to Hannah's salon. She truly provides an overall spa like experience! Scalp massage, snacks and drinks. Plus she is very conscientious when it comes to keepings the salon sanitized between guests. Five star experience.

Growing up in rural Michigan I had always dreamed of becoming a hairstylist like my mom. Fast forward to age 18 & I found myself in Houston, Texas pursuing my dream at Paul Mitchell the School. I instantly fell in love with my career choice! After graduating I worked at an Aveda salon for two years before I opened Southern Belles Salon in 2013.
Next, you will arrive at HK HAIR STUDIO located in the second level of the building. Once you are in the studio, I will walk you through a 15 minute detailed consultation. At this time we will discuss your hair goals & determine a long term plan to ensure all your desires are met. I can't wait to meet you!

Hannah makes your appointment so comfortable, relaxing, and inviting. She strives to make your visits better every time and definitely succeeds! She not only takes the time to understand your hair wants/needs but also picks your brain about how she can make your experience as a whole better (snacks and drinks included :) ) HK Hair Studio is one a kind and I highly recommend it!

Hannah is one of the best stylists I have ever been to (believe me when I say I have used quite a few🙂). I have very curly coarse hair with a little gray. I walk our of her chair with a color that is so natural and a style I absolutely love! Hannah however not only colors and styles my hair beautifully she listens to my day...week...year with care and concern (I probably don't pay her enough!). When I say I leave her shop feeling beautiful it is truly inside and out! (P.S. her head massage is for real the best ever).

My first appointment with Hannah went amazing. She does a consultation with you, so she knows exactly what you want. We created a hair plan together; hair color, tone, all the way down to what shampoo and styling products to use. She takes her time with you. She is personable, knowledgeable and a well rounded stylist. I already booked my next appointment. I will recommend her to all my friends and family. All around a great experience!

Hannah is a true gem! She did my hair for years in TX before moving back to Michigan. My hair and I missed her so much that I had to make a visit during a recent trip home (I’m from MI, too). My hair hasn’t looked this good since Hannah left TX!
