Dittmar Company was start in 1971 by our founder Kurt E. Dittmar and his wife Penelope Dittmar. Kurt and his quality employees built the company from a basic repair company into a prominent home building company. He then expanded the company into light commercial renovations (office remodeling and additions).
In 2005, Ben and Kurt started Monticello Cabinetry & Woodworking. The cabinetry shop has allowed K.E. Dittmar Company to keep a majority of the building process in-house. Ben states, It has been a great addition to our business. It allows us to keep the finish quality to the level we expect. It has also allowed us to keep the project timelines in check.

Dittmar Company is the only complete design - build, design-remodel firm in Muskingum County. We pride ourselves in offering our customers the complete building package. If you already have a design completed by an outside source we would still look forward to the opportunity to work with you to complete your project.
Write down all your wants, no matter how outrageous you might believe them to be. Then write down your absolute needs. This way we can have a nice starting point for design. When we have these lists we can start a design that will have the needs and also incorporate many of the wants. I urge my clients to supply examples of designs they like.
