Bought a 2020 Silverado 1500 from Carter. Very good vehicle but the service dept is very sub par. My first oil change I had to argue with them on what oil to put into the engine. They were going to put the wrong oil in and finally after they made phone calls they had to admit they were wrong. Good thing because I could see engone problem and they would say I put the wrong oil in. The oil should be )W-20 Dex2 D. The D is important on the 3.0 diesel engine. Then I had a grease leak in the boot of one of my CV Axles. I took a pic of where I thought the problem was. They booked me in and called

We came from Prince George to purchase a used traverse and Kevin was amazing to us. He worked out all the foreseeable kinks from afar, then when we got to finance Al was incredible with finding what works best for our family. When we got to Burnaby, we found a minor issue and they drove it straight into the shop to have it fixed. We couldn't have imagined a better experience, let alone doing it from so far away. Thank you Carter GM!

Dropped my car off at 7am was told should be roughly 3hours. Didn't hear from anyone until 2:30pm. Was told was just a plugged air filter and then told would they would call me when it was ready. When I still hadn't heard anything by 5:20pm I called to inquire. Was told it was ready but unless I could pick it up in 10 minutes I couldn't get it today. I had previously changed my appointment to this time to try to minimize time off work. Thanks to these jokers I wasted an entire day and am out a days wages for nothing. Thanks A-Holes!!!!

This review is for the service department.
I booked an appointment for an oil change for 1030 am. I also needed the drivers side rain guard re-fastened as it makes noise when driving at higher speeds.
So I had to come to the place where I bought the truck, or else I wouldn't have come here in first place, as it's out of the way and inconvenient. But the warranty covered it, so I had the opportunity to finally get it done.
It was 4 hours later I got my truck back.
Very unhappy about how long it took, as I had to wait around for it to be done.
I spoke to the service manager,

Had a terrible experience with the Used car salesman Nicholas Saw. Went into the dealership looking for a small run around. Found a Sonic and got a fair price on it. I also asked about a second vehicle. I sent an email to Nick asking for better pricing on a list of vehicles I was interested in. I got a very rude email reply and was basically told to f*** off because I was asking for too big a discount. Word for word, his reply was "Sorry we do not have [x] markup. Good try though. Good luck shopping. Thanks Nick". So basically, not even interested in a negotiating or making a sale

First, credit where it's due; the car drives well and I have had no problems with it whatsoever. Hopefully, my review of this dealership is not a reflection of the values of GM as a whole.
Summary: Zaheed was great. Roger was great. Linda made the whole experience terrible. Had to pay more than we originally agreed upon.

When I first started looking at the Chevy Volt 16 on the internet, I was very interested and wanted more information. I had called several dealerships, and it wasn't until I reached Zaheed from Carter GM, that I reached someone who knew what they were talking
