I made a reservation for a wedding in 2020 that got canceled due to Covid-19. When cancelling they said we could move the reservation to another date, but the down payment could not be returned. We said fine, we'll just wait to see when the wedding gets rescheduled. But then the ran our card for the full amount out of the blue for $2300! We emailed them and called repeatedly but they wouldn't reply or call back. We contacted our bank and it's been in dispute for months so we still don't have our money back. Read the other reviews because these folks are just scammers that steal

Do not book with this company!! They do not return calls, texts or emails! I have already paid in full and although we have had to postpone a few times due to Covid Pandemic can not get a response to reschedule. Wish I would have researched more especially reading reviews how owner cancels at last minute.

My negative experience with My Southern Comfort (MSC) (Tyrone) mimics other reviewers. I made a pre-covid reservation through VRBO. We had hoped for a refund but got a big "no" so we opted to reschedule which is listed as an option in MSC's policies. We did change the reservation date more than once because of continued covid issues in New Orleans which we appreciated being able to do. However, my credit card was charged for the final payment by MSC based on an incorrect date of arrival. When I contacted Tyrone he said, "no problem" with crediting my card for the amount

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They canceled our reservation ONE DAY before our arrival. We booked and paid for our reservations 6 months prior getting a great price for what we thought would be a fun location. We had to scramble to find another place to stay. Apparently this business will cancel you if they can rent out the unit for a better price. Getting our money back has been a struggle and they refuse to communicate.

We stayed in The Bourbon House July of 2021 and our VRBO fee was overcharged by the Southern Comfort employee Tyrone. Tyrone agreed we where over charged but never refunded us the amount which was $262. We had phone conversations with him and texting. He stated he would take care of it but he never did!! Very disappointing from a guy who has a premier rating! Also sent an email to the Southern Comfort headquarters but they never responded!!!!

Booked a stay at a My Southern Comfort rental in New Orleans with long time friends we haven't seen in years. Unfortunately, COVID and Hurricane Ida had other plans and we had to cancel our trip. The team at MSC worked with us, were incredibly understanding of our issue and fully refund our trip - despite being in the midst of hurricane clean-up. So appreciative of their communication and understanding. We were super excited to visit their home - and will rebook with them for certain when we are able to reschedule.

Unbelievable customer service and understanding this company is number one in my books. Due to a family emergency we had to cancel our family get away and they immediately refunded our stay and wished us well. I'm not sure where to begin with the praise I have for my recent stay at The Gabrielle, one of My Southern Comfort properties in the French Quarter. First, I was impressed with the constant communication I had with one of the owners (Tyrone) before my arrival. I had several questions and request and he was always available and accommodating. He was a key player in making my husbands birthday weekend great!!

I've booked with My Southern Comfort multiple times in multiple different units. The properties are all beautifully maintained, decorated and super clean! I prefer My Southern Comfort above any other option in New Orleans. The locations, the keyless entry process, the building security, and the quality of the units are great!! They also were super flexible and accommodating when I had to reschedule a booking due to COVID.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Booked room for next April, talked to owner after booking to ask about parking. I messed up and told him I was going to final four. Next day he refunds my money and lists the room for more money! No cancel email or call, thankfully my wife saw the credit card statement. Bad customer service and Very Rude! Obviously the contract I signed means nothing to him! Do not rent here!

We were a party of 4 to arrive late at night on March 18th. Upon arrival we called the booking office/property manager (Tyrone) and explained that we never received the key on our phone app. The Manager (Tyrone) said it was no problem, just go into the building and to the door and he would remotely open it for us. As far as we were concerned that was acceptable especially since it was 1:00 am and we were pretty tired. After a couple of tries Tyrone got the door opened (remotely), and we entered the apartment. Due to COVID, we had to reschedule our trip. While we were frustrated that we couldn't get our money back at first, My Southern Comfort offered a voucher good for up to TWO YEARS to rebook! And it was so easy. I simply called and we were rebooked within minutes. They even offered to upgrade us. Thanks My Southern Comfort!

Total crooks. Canceled well-before the 60 day timeline and they refuse to issue our refund. The agency will not call us back. Do not book with this agency. Tyrone is the property manager and he will not return a call or respond to an email. They do not adhere to their policies.

My family stayed for a few days at the end of December 2020. Even though I waited to book at the last minute, Tyrone was very responsive to answering questions and offering suggestions. Payment and check in were seamless and easy. The photos of the property were perfectly accurate, so I knew what I was getting. We had a fabulous trip to New Orleans, we are all ready to return! My Southern Comfort has a variety of properties in great locations. I will definitely book with Tyrone and My Southern Comfort for our next trip!

Like the previous reviews, we had a booking but request a cancellation or reschedule as New Orleans was shutting down due to Corona Virus. We called and emailed multiple times and no response whatsoever. I wish i had looked up their BBB rating before we booked, it's an "F". Lousy company. You would think in this very unusual situation they would be more accommodating. I would avoid this company.

I made a reservation for May 2020 through My Southern Comfort. Due to COVID I cannot travel and have been trying to reach them for over a week - have called (messages only), emailed, face book message, and instagram with no reply. DO NOT BOOK with them!!!!!

If things change I will update this post but for now I feel like I've been scamme

UPDATE: finally heard from them via Facebook after I wrote a negative review there too. Apparently, even though I first reached out to them on April 9, they still haven't been able to reply to me ( see pics)

We had booked for the the final half week of the Jazz Fest. It has been postponed due to Covid-19 but Tyrone is refusing to give us a refund or even commit to rescheduling our stay for whenever the Jazz Fest is rescheduled. Profiting like this on a pandemic is the as low as one can go on the spectrum of humanity. Think hard before doing business with here.

I've been trying to cancel my reservation since February. Tyrone refuses too cancel, refuses to respond to emails. Went through HomeAway to cancel they were of no help. Poor poor customer service from Tyrone and he's supposed company. Unfortunately due to HomeAway not properly vetting owners and not wanting to actually help or assist the renter I will not be utilizing HomeAway for my future rental needs I am leaving one star but zero stars should be a option
