Services
Your babies will be safe in our infant care program, for little ones from 6 weeks to 18 months. Young infants have their senses exercised in our thematic program that focuses on reading, music, movement, and sensory exploration. We also teach sign language for the communication of basic needs, and to enhance and support language development.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please keep your children's personal toys at home. Children should only come with certain items if they are being presented for 'Show and Tell'. It makes it very hard in the classroom to keep these separate from our own supplies, and properly send their toys back with them home. Our Parent Handbook is provided so that you may understand the school's policies and guiding principles.
Sick Policy -- By the regulations of Office of Family and Child Services and the Board of Education all schools are rquired to have a sick child policy. Written Medical Consent Form -- NYS Office of Children and Family Services. Dental Hygiene Information -- Our preschool, nursery school and kindergarten enrichment programs are voluntarily registered with the New York State Education Department.
Early intervention services are provided to help your child grow and development, and to help you support and promote yoir child's development. The local Orange County Early Intervention Program can be contacted through (845) 360-6630. Hudson Health Plan offers the Child Health Plus program in six counties in New York's Hudson Valley: Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Sullivan, Dutchess, and Ulster.

Second day of new school year our child gets hurt. We don't know what happened because no one was watching or knows anything. Could not walk or support own weight. Had to take our child to urgent care where they received an X-ray showing no breaks. We were told it was a possible bruise or sprain. We unenrolled our child. One time is too many for us, because that one time could be fatal!!!

I had taken a tour of the facility to find a shocking disturbing lack of security as I walked into Little Harvard. A non-secured metal gate, an open front door leading into main office, no cameras or locks keeping children safe. Around back leading upstairs to children's room there was no lock on doors. I found nothing short of alarming in today's day of predators being able to walk in and grab my child. Being a single mom with full custody of my two young boys, I find the judgement here to be careless and I'm amazed the state hasn't been called in to evaluate these issues
