It is a great clinic they take care of everyone noatter what. Sometimes you do have to wait or be rescheduled due to them being open to everyone
I started going when I had no insurance and now I have excellent insurance and still go there and get treated the same as when I did not. My husband has had life threatening illnesses and was sent to excellant doctors and set up with excellant doctors and special programs.

I feel that the health professionals are very good there but I;m giving them a single star anyway. That is because it is so difficult getting through to the patient scheduler I dread making an appointment and rarely do make an appointment. I'm left sitting in the queue for a very long time and that sucks when you're making an appointment during my work day. Luckily I can go to a private room and put the phone on speaker phone mode and work while I wait.

Spread the word: Health Start clinics have been around since 1973, helping all students through health care, mental health care, health education, and nutrition counseling--all at no cost to students or their families. Health Start keeps private things private. Clinics are in Como, AGAPE, Highland, Harding, Humboldt, Central, Johnson, Washington, and Gordon Parks High Schools. If you go attend a school without a clinic, check out Gordon Parks...you don't have to be a student there to get care.
