OE Custom is a Maryland-based company that specializes in custom renovations, make-overs and complete design and build fabrication at a residential and commercial scale. As a solid custom wood shop, we function on a production level, creating stair treads, countertops, commercial furniture, conference and dining tables, accent walls, bars, and mantels.
Services
OE Custom designs and builds heirloom-quality projects using fallen lumber from our local community. When trees fall due to development, old age, or disease they are all too often sent to a landfill or mulch pile. OE repurposes this sustainable resource by salvaging the logs from local tree companies, governments, and landowners and turning them into beautifully handcrafted pieces.
Here at OE Custom we practice in the process of Urban Logging. We work very closely with local tree companies, governments and land owners to put trees that would normally be placed in a waste stream to good use(countertops and furniture). Urban logs are trees that are not of a certain caliper normally sent to a conventional mill.

Paul and his team at OE Custom are true craftspeople! We first found OE Custom many years ago when they built a custom table for our kitchen/casual dining area. At the time, we needed an unusual-sized table that could withstand heavy daily use and serve many purposes. We collaborated on the design, and it remains one of our favorite pieces of furniture. More recently, we again hired OE Custom to build several pieces for our home, including a desktop for our home office and a contemporary dining table, and to convert a sentimental desktop into a piece of wall art. Very disappointed with the unprofessionalism of this company. They failed to contact me to cancel my appt shortly after I called and talked to John who was very helpful in setting my appt up for the following day. I was sent an email that went to my spam folder so I never saw the appt was canceled for the following day. No phone call was made to me.
I drove over an hour to this showroom location with my associate and encountered a rude man sitting in his office doing quite literally nothing. No one was there... he was not preoccupied with anything when he told me he was not able to meet with
