The customer service and communication is awesome. ProTek not only fixed the faulty design of the manufacturer but also instructed me as to avoid future issues. They saved me money and time that the manufacturer would have cost me. I refered my son and he was very pleased with the repair that was made to his tech also

I came to ProTek with my HP Omen that had stopped working out of the blue, the day before the first day of college. It was crashing and refused to hold a charge. Throughout the diagnostic process ProTek was very professional and kept well in contact, willing to explain everything they were doing. Unfortunately what we thought was just a bad battery ended up being a complete lost of the motherboard due to a faulty chip, but regardless ProTek was very helpful and I trusted them through the whole process and helped me make the best decision. I would recommend this place for anyone who has problems

Why did I wait to have my daughter's laptop looked at? I thought that was just how it operated. I was wrong. ProTek did a diagnostic, found the problem, and a new hard drive later, my goodness how fast it is. She is so happy now and they saved all of her data. Any future computer tuneups will be done by ProTek in this family from now on!

My son's personal computer would not turn on. I took it to two separate places and they said it would cost too much to fix and to just buy a new one. ProTek gave me a detailed breakdown of what was wrong, provided an estimate to fix (much less than a new computer), and then fixed his computer. They are very professional and give you daily updates on what is going on with your machine. I will definitely take all of my computers here from now on.

I’ve been using ProTek for years. They are knowledgeable, professional, and dependable. I moved out of the area (Guntersville) recently and when I needed to fix my phone screen, I didn’t even bother to look for someone local. ProTek is worth the drive! My gaming desktop quit working and initially I took it elsewhere because it was the only HP authorized repair business in the area. Big mistake! I contacted ProTek after that fiasco and even though it was after hours, even though they're so busy right now that it probably would've been a week before they could get to my machine, Clint took the time to walk me through diagnosing the problem.

I was devastated when I thought I had lost all my personal and business info that was saved on my external hard-drive. I called Pro-Tek and Clint was able to salvage all of my important files and pictures. I will always use Pro-Tek and the rates are very reasonable.

I have a very different opinion of ProTek than what was expressed in a 7/22/17 one-star review. I have interacted with ProTek personnel at least 6 different times over the last year. Every time it was a 5-star experience. On one of those occasions a mistake of some sort was made. I don't remember what it was, but what i do remember is that they took ownership and made it right without argument, and my computer was returned to me in timely manner and working perfectly. Even that experience was 5 star in my opinion. The fact that ProTek is transparent and forthright when an error is made
