My personal experience with Edmonds and Evans was at the Portage Chapel in October 2020 and early January 2021. My brother and I have nothing but positive comments on our experience with Mr. Troy O'Brien and his Portage staff. Each was very professional, compassionate and accommodating before, during and after the funeral services for our father and then our mother. We thank them and will refer their service to all in the future.

The compassion shown by the team was deeply appreciated. Craig went above and beyond to ensure our emotional needs were taken care of in every way possible. Karen was there to guide us through the details of the legalities of forms and documents. Jessica was a breath of fresh air to assist and make recommendations. Unfortunately we have needed their services more than once in the past few years and they were there for us through it all. A truly caring group of individuals-thank you all.

I couldn't have asked for more professional, more compassionate service during a very difficult time. My mother's funeral was pre-paid which took a lot of stress out of it for me and my family. However there were some details to take care of and the staff at Emonds and Evans in Portage, IN were extremely helpful.

Edmonds & Evans were exceptional partners when my dad passed. He lived in Chesterton and passed on Christmas. Despite the holidays they were there the entire time helping walk my family through the process, including people living across the country. I had to fly in on New Years Day to collect his remains and they were there to meet me, carving out time on their day off. Their commitment to their clients is exceptional and they go the extra mile with compassion and care.
