Unlike conventional medicine which focuses on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, AHA emphasizes improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place. Arriving at a doctors office for the first time can be a nerve racking experience. Paperwork to fill out, new faces and names to learn, and getting to know your way around the office; this can hit the senses all at the same time causing overload. In contrast, at Applied Health Associates our aim is to remove any stressors causing unnecessary tension and make you feel comfortable.
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular form in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem.
Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.
Most chiropractors regard the elimination of symptoms as the easiest part of a persons care. If all that the chiropractor does is to reduce the pain and stop there, the chances of the condition recurring are much greater. In order to prevent a rapid recurrence of symptoms, it is necessary to continue receiving care even though your symptoms are gone.

The staff are very kind and professional. My 3 year old just started getting adjusted this year, Dr. Joe was AMAZING. He took time to be silly and ease my son. He now looks forwards to his appointments, no fuss or hesitation. The comfort and trust he has with Dr. Joe shines through in how smooth the appointments go. We get compliments from the nurses on how cute and cooperative he is through every step of his adjustments. Myself and my boyfriend also go to Dr. Joe. I would not go to anyone else and will continue to recommend him to anyone and everyone seeking a chiropractor.

I have been to a few chiropractors and always left shortly after I started because they didn't really do much for me. I came to applied health associates after a coworker recommended them and I am seeing Dr. Paul. I almost can't believe I'm saying this but he is a miracle worker and has helped me an unbelievable amount. I had been going then stopped because I really didn't need to any more. I hadn't gone in for nine months and finally starting to get out of adjustment and went in then he corrected it in 10 minutes. If you're thinking about going but are skeptical because

I have always dealt with a lot of back pain and have just learned to live with it. After a few unsuccessful visits at another local chiropractor place, I found AHA. I had no idea which chiropractor to choose from but luckily, they got me set up with Paul. He has been incredibly kind and attentive to my health issues and has helped remedy a lot problems I had come to terms with. I would highly recommend AHA and Paul!
They also have great precautions set up with social distancing, sanitizing all the rooms after each patient, and all staff wear masks. I have felt very comfortable with their practices

I came in with a new foot injury and an old knee injury. I've never been to a chiropractor before and now I feel like I've been missing out all of these years. It's hard to be told by so many medical providers that there's essentially nothing else that can be done for me. I felt like pain was going to be a part of my life for many years to come, which is hard mentally and physically for somebody who lives to be active and outdoors. Would love to be a regular patient if the reception could get things together. The whole experience was messy and unorganized. between my booking and the appointment as well as during the service my insurance was never processed. I am also very confused on what I was filling out and why. They didn't even know how much I suppose to be charged. I asked if the appointment would take an hour on the phone and it ended up taking two and I had to come back to fill out paperwork they forgot about.

I've been coming to AHA for massage for years and have had nothing but positive experiences. As a cancer patient there are alot of issues in which to deal-lymphedema being one. Charlie is the 1st therapist who has knowledge of the lymphatic system and the way it paths and drains I've met outside of physical therapy. He is an amazing massage therapist! I cant say enough wonderful things about this group of professionals.

I cannot say enough good things about everyone at AHA. My physical health has improved beyond my expectations and the staff is top notch. The front desk ladies know everyone by their name and are so understanding when schedules change. Miriam takes extra time to explain financial issues with love and understanding. Dr Keith is hands down the most knowledgeable health professional I have worked with and I have experienced instant relief and ongoing improvement of my movement and flexibility. I have also seen Dr Joe and he is exceptional as well.

I've only been here twice and felt compelled to tell everyone I know to go here! This place is the real deal. I'm an RN and have had chronic illnesses for 20 years (I'm 26). The staff here is brilliant, sophisticated, professional, and incredibly good at explaining the treatment options and why they're doing what they're doing. Having seen countless other providers with similar credentials, I wish I could give this place 10/5 stars! Holistic approach. Building is impressive too

Dr Keith Morehouse is not very professional. I just walked out after telling him I didn't appreciate his attitude after threatening to dismiss me when I questioned his thought process. He was training another doctor and said to her (while I was standing there) that if a patient doesn't want to follow his directions that it was time to dismiss them-this was only my 3rd visit. I had done everything up to that point. He first said I had a lower back problem, then he wanted to manipulate my foot that is still in the process of recovering from a major foot surgery, and today he now thinks

My daughter had a pretty severe knee injury from a cross country meet. She couldn't walk on it for three weeks. We took her in to aha to see Dr. Kyle and after a month she could walk with hardly a limp. Now she is almost running and back to her normal active life.
Dr. Kyle is very friendly and professional. The staff always greets you with a smile and are always helpful.

Awesome team! Always super friendly and kind plus the adjustments are fantastic. I think the prices are good, as my first chiropractic provider, I wasn't sure what exactly I was looking for, but I'm feeling so much better so it's definitely worth it. Clean facility and a friendly front desk staff. They remember who you are and will refer to you by your first name.

I moved to Las Vegas and have been away for 11 years but continued to recommend him tonanyone I knew in the area looking for a chiropractor. I was so glad to see he is still here when I moved back to the area.
Dr. Keith and his staff are all super friendly and easy going. Your visits are comfortable and relaxed. The wait is never long and the adjustments are never rushed.

Everyone at Applied Healthcare Associates do their best to make sure that each visit is a great experience. I got into a car accident last year and Dr. Keith, Dr. Travis, Charlie, Candice, and the rest of the team all have helped me heal over the year.
I wouldn't go anywhere else in Spokane for my Chiropractic or Massage needs. The staff are supported and have a good repertoire with all of the patients.
