Relmpago del Cielo means "Lightning from the Sky" in Spanish. During each performance, dancers "bring the thunder" to audiences with intricate steps, radiant smiles and brilliant colors that transport everyone to traditions of the folkloric dance of Mexico.

Relmpago del Cielo, Inc. Grupo Folklricocelebrates 45 years in Santa Ana as the oldest operating non-profit institution of its kind within the region and the largest in the United States. Over the years, RDC has touched the lives of generations in the community, offering low-cost Mexican Folkloric dance classes for all ages, dance recitals, and special performances locally and internationally.
RDC has given both my son and daughter the opportunity to express themselves through dance and celebrate their culture. We look forward to Saturday morning dance class, we've all made some great friends over the years. We have been with Relampago for almost three years and we are very satisfied with it.
Relmpago del Cielo has really turned me into the person i am and has connected me with my roots. It has given me a whole new family. Please visit the front desk on the first day of class to complete the registration process. Rehearsals are held at the Orange County School of the Arts in the Dance, Music and Science building otherwise known as the DMS: Map and Directions. All students are given the opportunity to perform for community events and our annual student recital.
