Services
Steve Van Dyke Photography is a boutique business in the Chicago area. This means that I devote lots of time to my clients so they can have an amazing experience and come away with artwork that they absolutely love. My goal is to thrill each and every client. I want to get to know you; your preferences, style, and personality.
Since everything is custom, the final amount that each client spends can vary quite a bit however, most of my clients spends an average of $600 on products. Some spend less and some spend more. And of course, you have a free 11x14 wall art credit and you're not obligated to spend anything at all. I've found my clients love the convenience of having the session in their home and not having to go out to get great images.
Steve Van Dyke Photography loves to work events! These sessions are much shorter, only up to 20 minutes. This is enough time to for us to get your pet comfortable and for you to choose from a variety of poses. Join us at one of these events near you! If you have a pet event and would like us to join you or want to collaborate an event with you, let us know!
We believe in creating a memorable experience and treating our sessions for like a fashion shoot than the ordinary portraits that you're used to. Steve visited our home to take pictures of our 4 year old chocolate lab. Prior to the visit, there was a lot of communication with Steve about how the experience works and what I should expect. He listened to me about what I was looking for in the pictures. Upon arrival, he was very kind and friendly and good with our dog. He learned her words and commands quickly and worked with her to take breaks and give her snacks. I know she really enjoyed her time with Steve! The pictures were beautiful and Steve was very collaborative with my feedback and to make sure that the pictures were what I was looking

Steve came to our home to photograph our 1 year old rescue pup who is fearful of most people and by the end of the one hour session he was petting the top of her head! (very few new people get to do this!) He took the time to get her comfortable with the noise/light of the flash and was careful moving around and setting up his equipment/backdrops, taking care to move slowly and calmly to avoid startling her. He asked us what type of shot we were hoping to get and worked with us to get our pup to be the star we knew she could be. We had concerns if the photo shoot would even be a success and after
