Services
The Duvall Dance Academy Company is a competitive dance team that travels and competes for National recognition. The Company competes in large and small groups, duos and trios, and solos. Each dancer is required to take classes that focus on ballet, jazz, tap, and acro. If you are interested in finding out more about the company please come by the studio and talk to Mrs. Tamara or anyone else on the DDA Staff.
These classes are for our youngest dancers, ages 3-4. They focus on teaching the basic fundamentals of dance and encourage creativity through the medium of dance. Students learn to hop, skip, jump and to take direction with the use of small props. These classes are for Kindergarten and First graders.
Studio owner and dance instructor of 20+ years, Tamara trained in Cecchetti Method of Ballet and worked as a dancer on stage in musicals and was a member of The Dance Theatre of the Inland Empire in Southern California. She attended the UC Riverside and finished at UC Irvine in Dance Education. Affectionally known by her students as Mrs.

My teenage son is in his 6th year at Duvall Dance Academy. From his first trial class he knew this was the place for him. Not only is Duvall known for its excellent technique training, but the teachers truly care about each student and will push them to be the best that they can be. My son strives to have a career in the professional dance world and the training he is receiving is preparing for him this opportunity. I highly recommend Duvall Dance Academy for all dancers, whether they're looking to be on a competitive team or just want to take a few recreational classes.

My daughter does the daycare dance program that Duvall offers at her daycare. I was a little skeptical at first because my daughter is only 2 1/2 and that is the youngest age they accept. But she has been… dancing since she could move and showed real interest in being a “beautiful ballerina” as she says. She has only been in the class for a few weeks and I can already see at home how much she has learned! I don’t know how this wonderful woman has the patience to teach these very young people this type of discipline, but I am very appreciative of her efforts! I am so excited

My daughter has been at Duvall since she was about 3. From day one, they have been very professional and taught her the basics and foundational skills to really set her off on the right foot for a career in dance. My daughter has competed in their company since the age of 4 and has blossomed. The teachers push the children to be their best and really have given my daughter a confidence that I could have only dreamed she have. I would HIGHLY recommend others to take their kiddos to Duvall. It really is second to none!
