A Dressy Occasion was born in 2000 after I found myself dismayed at the lack of options for formal and bridal wear that had sleeves, higher neckline and an overall modest look without sacrificing style and fashion.

People... do not order or use this company. Very bad customer service and not willing to work with the customer when they messed up. Also, very rude owner and not nice at all. Blamed everyone else but their company, who made the dress, mind you. So disappointed and would never refer anyone here. Do not go this route, search out another company, you will regret it. I should’ve looked at the reviews before I ordered... low reviews and true what they said. Do not order from Dressy Occassion, just trying to save you time, grief, and money.

I found the perfect wedding dress and thought Donna and her associate (I can't remember her name) were absolutely lovely and sweet and great to work with. The price of my dress was so reasonable too. Finding modest gowns is so hard, but they had styles I wanted and even ones I didn't think I'd love but ended up loving!
When I went in, I knew I wanted a good train, a neckline that showed my collarbones, and for it to be form fitted. The dress I got has sequins and is so beautiful!!! The

*Changed* Ok, I rarely write reviews-- especially bad ones, because I get that people are just trying to do their job and mistakes happen, but I'm really not impressed with this place. When I received my product it had a stain, so I immediately contacted their returns about it to get a return code. I returned the dress (which cost me about 10$ in shipping) and asked if I would be able to receive a refund on the shipping both from me to them and the shipping for a new dress from them to me. I had seen a caveat in their return policy that said they might refund shipping if the mistake was on their

TERRIBLE experience. I needed a S/M and emailed customer service to see if they had one. Apparently they didn't because they first asked for my measurements and then recommended a M/L because 'the bust ran small'. When it was delivered, the dress was WAY TOO BIG, especially in the bust. Donna Anderson was unprofessional and not helpful- told me that it would be easy to take in the dress. So now I'm out $75 for a dress that doesn't fit and even more $ to get an expedited alteration. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I went to Davids Bridals and i couldn't find what i was looking for. I did my research and googled and came across A dressy Occasion! This store is the best!! I love their casual dresses. They are so unique and comfortable. Their selection is amazing. The staff is welcoming and helpful. I don't know if I'll ever buy another dress anywhere else. The wedding dresses are out of this world. I wish this store had been around when I was getting married!!!

It’s been 3 months since my wedding and I am still in LOVE with my dress!! On top of my wedding dress I also got all my bridesmaids dresses from A Dressy Occasion and all my bridesmaids loved the dresses. I had a really good experience going in and finding dresses - everyone was so friendly, helpful and attentive. The only thing I wish they had was a dress in every swatch color so you can see the color on the dress before you order. I love this shop! Every time I come in they are so willing to help me out to find what I'm looking for. The girls are always very helpful in helping me find my size and offering me several options. Last time I was in a girl even let me try on dresses that were just shipped in and weren't even tagged and on the floor yet! Seriously how much better can it get? Not to mention she also was so sweet and easy to work with! I come here for all my dress needs, and have loved to see how much the store has grown and how much they carry now!

Very lovely and clean bridal boutique! The consultant Hailey was the real star⭐️!. She really was the most wonderful Consultant and deserves major kudos! She was a whiz with the veil selections. Donna was so helpful. I live in Australia and she was able to help me choose which dress style, size, and colour were right for me through lots of emails and phone calls and photographs. It came in a timely… fashion and I got so many compliments. Would definitely recommend this shop to any girl who wants to be modest but also feel pretty.

Excellent experience! The employees were outstanding in helping me find the perfect wedding dress. They found so many dresses that fit the style I was looking for. They didn't make me feel pressured or uncomfortable while I was making decisions and trying on dresses. Haley knew so much about wedding gowns down to the detail. She even called their California store to see what sizes and shipping times were available for a dress I was interested in. I feel like I found my dress really fast, with no fuss at all. I am looking forward to meeting with their suggested seamstress at A Dressy Occasion

Absolutely beautiful gowns. And they had a payment plan. My big complaint was when we were there the girl was on the phone the entire time. She was supposed to be fitting the dresses etc. But she didn't. We just did it ourselves and we were there about 45 mins before she got off the phone to help. We we're already done at that point. I did purchase from them because the varity of dresses was great. They just need new staff.

My mom was worried I wouldn't find the dress I wanted cause it was so 'simple.' I couldn't be more happy with the dress I got! Donna is great! I bought my dress only from seeing the photo online. She let me try dresses on that were similar but they just sold out of mine couple weeks before I came into the shop. At the end of the night I got married I still didn't want to take it off. It made me feel like a princess! Plus it had POCKETS!!! Who doesn't love pockets in their dress??

I recently went to A Dressy Occasion to look for a wedding dress! I had just found it online and made an appointment. Donna was so nice and it was clear that she knows what she's doing. And the dresses were all beautiful! I don't think I tried on one that I disliked. She let me choose some styles and pulled out others that she thought I would like. I found the Gilbert, AZ location on their Grand Opening day by chance. Donna, Rochelle, all the ladies made my dress buying experience amazing. My dress is gorgeous and such a personal experience I had kindness, fun, and excitement every step of the way. It took some time to find THE DRESS.
