I guess you could say that I came by this obsession for cars by way of my family tree. My Dad's Dad was an Organizational Manager for the Chevrolet Division of General Motors for 32 years and his father owned a repair shop - Bery & Al. My Mother's father, also a serious car enthusiast, owned Charlie Brown's Body Shop.
Remember what your car looked like on the showroom floor? Every crack and crevice was clean, the motor was shiny, the tires glistened, and the paint just exploded with color -- that's what your car should look like after a full detail. The vehicle should be as close to showroom condition as possible.
Unfortunately this is the most abused term in the industry. What one shop calls a detail another considers a wash. It is not uncommon for me to speak with a customer who is asking me about a detail only to find out that he or she is actually describing what we consider a car wash. A detail by our definition means that every surface of the vehicle is cleaned, conditioned, and restored to its maximum potential.
The best way to care for your newly ceramic-coated vehicle is to wash by hand with the appropriate solutions, tools, and techniques. We highly recommend using the products within the "ecosystem" of the coating's manufacturer. In other words, if you have chosen to have Opticoat installed on your vehicle, use Opticoat products.
The detailer will disconnect electrical components and cover them with plastic bags to avoid moisture contact. 4. The next step entails applying a high-pressure water hose to the entire engine while avoiding electrical parts. Oil leaks, worn-out belts, and moisture buildup could result in regular visits to the mechanic.

Dropped off my new Tesla here and after picking it up all I can say is WOW. Not less than 1 week after picking it up and the clear bra on the car has already saved my paint from flying rocks on I240. Do yourself a favor and listen the first time they tell you they recommend it. These guys only rep the best products and will never steer you wrong.

Had my Tesla ceramic coated there about a week ago.. this is a picture of it 7 days later. I’ve driven 400 miles, parked under trees, and it’s rained twice in those 7 days. Still has a mirror finish. These guys are the real deal.

I wanted the best detailing for my new car and after some research I found Word of Mouth Detailing. I went in for an appointment and while the price is premium, the work most certainly is too. I went in expecting perfection and apart from some minor requests when the detailing job was completed, they came pretty darn close to it.
I noticed some super minor damage on the door from opening and hitting something, which looks to have been done unwittingly. It was truly minor, but when I brought it up and came back to have it looked at, they already had the correct touch-up in house and took it in
