He graduated from University Nebraska Medical Center with a physical therapy degree in 1997. Mike earned the US Army Commendation Medal for service as a Calvary medic during the Battle of 73 Easting in Operation Desert Storm.
For physical therapy I went to Flex Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine on Valley View Drive. I found the folks at Flex to be superbly competent and the facility conducive to the healing process. I worked mostly with Abe and Courtney and found them to be very knowledgeable and encouraging.

I have never been more disappointed than I was there. The physical therapist spent 96% of her time on her laptop watching the Olympics on her laptop. I would be doing the wrong exercises without knowing and she didn't notice because she was on her computer I don't know the names of them. At one point she didn't know why I was doing one but instead of correcting it she went back to her laptop. Then instead of correcting and helping me she made feel bad about it when she done watching. And they expect me to pay for her to play on her laptop. Are kidding me. The absolutely worst. Until she is gone

The team at Flex is great. They are thoughtful in choosing and advancing my exercise plan and paying attention to how I am feeling day-to-day. As a team, they work well together and help each other out so that I get the best experience. The atmosphere is lighthearted and fun and I enjoy my visits plus my symptoms have reduced and I'm on the road to recovery.
