Dance Academy has been teaching children and adults the art of Ballet Folklorico or Traditional Mexican Folk Dance for over 27 years and was originally started by sisters Israela & Felissa Garcia in 1990 with the goal of "preserving our culture through the arts".

The Company is blessed to be able to spread our talents and our love for our culture and what we do to our many students as well as to countless audiences throughout the beautiful State of New Mexico, the United States of America and around the World.Ballet Folklorico (Mexican Folk Dance) classes are offered for students beginning at 2 years old thru Adult.

My daughter loves 💃. We have been going for quite some time. She has learned several dances and had the opportunity to participate in multiple performances. The staff is amazing and the experience is wonderful!
We have tried other dance studios and they don't compare. Our experience is they don't teach young children full routines (dances) and have few if any performances.

Booked them to perform at our wedding and it was amazing!!! Guests were so impressed and the dances were great, the entire team was so kind , definitely recommend them!

Dresses were falling apart, staff was not very polite, and dancers almost always preformed at the same place with the same routines which got boring. Classes were either boring or highly enjoyable, complete hit or miss. Baila-Baila did help me find my passion for folklorico which I will never lose and am greatful for.

Vary nice. been dancing for years . very nice studio. except i miss the room with the mickey mouse and its for weirdos who workout here. thank you uwu owo uwu
