If you have a Tesla, do NOT go here. They scratched my car window and claimed they did not do it. They wrinkled the entire back tint. It did not even cover to the edge. There are also water marks in my fabric.
They do not have a clean room so expect bubbling, hair, dirt and dust to be in the windows.

I bought a groupon for this company because they were so much cheaper than my local area. So I am posting an honest review of my service so far. I will update it in the future.
Tint Specialist ask for an appointment because it is a busy business. Read your groupon and follow the instructions (I read some prior bad reviews about this and decided to just use my judgement.) This car still had orginal manufacturers windows. (There is an additional charge if they have to remove old tint that is stated on your groupon. Again, read it.) They did a wonderful job on the tint. They did a great job, but it took a little while. Seems like their desire to help everyone to a degree that they may be overbooking. Not a big deal though, like I said, they did a great job and were very nice.
*As an update, the tint hasn't held up very well. This is the first time I've had to iron bubbles out of the tint on a semi-regular basis.

Don't go here. This has been the worst tint experience of my entire life. I purchased a new car, and the dealer sent me here. I had pre-paid for this tinting at the dealer. The FIRST time they did the tint job there were huge bubbles. I took it back. They re-did the tint, and the SECOND time the windows now have dirt trapped between the tint and the glass. I'm so frustrated, I could cry. Even though I have now paid $145, have sacrificed my work schedule TWICE for this, there is no way I'm going back a THIRD time to continue to be disappointed. I’ve been going to these guys since 1999 when they were north near Capital Plaza. They gave a lifetime warranty on a tint job back then and when I brought the same Acura to them in 2012 with the receipt, they honored it and replaced all the tint. They’ve done all my cars since. They have good brand name tints and some ceramic tints. Quick service but definitely make an appointment. The prices are about the same as everyone else in town but a little cheaper. A+

Tint Specialist in south Austin have tinted 5 of my vehicles, and they will continue to get my business.
I've had taken a couple of my vehicles back, and every time they've corrected any issues. If you have issues with bubbling to peeling to particles between the glass and the tint, allow them the opportunity to correct it. They will take care of it. Their customer service is excellent as always. Thank you for being YOU!

Don't go to this shady looking place for tint. i should have trusted my gut instinct and went to a more reputable place. they messed up my window trim and then denied it and said it was there before. my car is brand new and has never had any work done, how could it have been there before after only having it for two months? if i could give them zero stars i would. there is no professionalism at this place whatsoever.

Sadly I couldn't tell you if their quality of work is good or not because my car never moved an inch after I left it there. I assume their quality is just as bad as their efficiency. You can read the whole story but here's the ending: It took him a solid 2 minutes and 8 excuses to finally tell me sorry for the inconvenience. I hope they can learn to be more considerate of their customer's time.

I did not have a good experience here. The front desk person was nice and helpful. However the product, workmanship, and follow up was absolutely horrendous!
After finishing the tint, I got in the car and the rear window was screeched. I told the owner, and he told the guy that did it. He came over, and threw a tantrum and was extremely pissed off. Like it was my fault. I did feel uncomfortable at that point.
He re-tinted the window, left all the cut off trash in my car, and handed me the keys. Not an apology, NOTHING!
I went home to inspect the rest of the windows, and it's absolutely

I got a groupon as a gift to get my tint done here and it was a flippin nightmare. I asked for the standard legal 25% film and was told the law was 35%.. I then showed the guy this: https://www.txdps.state.tx.us/rsd/vi/consumerinfo/windowTint.htm showing that its been 25% for a while now. So then he said they didn't have it and it would be more expensive.. Fine whatever give me 35%.

My wife was highly disappointed after dealing with these scam artists.
The scam: They replace the tint on your rear window for $130 (?? after being quoted at $79 on the phone a couple weeks before, maybe their prices went up). Except they don't glue on a hard-to-notice spot of tint on the top of the rear window.
Then, after driving your car around for a couple months, a passenger in the back seat will notice that your tint is peeling off (and looks like it was never actually glued on in the first place) on the top of your rear window.
No problem, I think, "this is a highly rated company
