FRC Indoor Range is Louisiana's newest and most state of the art shooting range and professional firearms training facility. At FRC we provide our customers with the safest, cleanest, and most comfortable shooting environment available anywhere. Recently awarded the prestigious 5 Star Rating from the National Shooting Sports Foundation, FRC is the only range in the State to be so recognized.
FRC's Concealed Handgun Permit Class meets all State requirements necessary to apply for the Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit. Upon successful completion of the course students will recieve a Certificate which must be submitted with the application for the permit. Ammunition for most handgun calibers, and ear and eye protection are available for purchase in our retail area.
FRC's Draw Clinic introduces the shooter to the proper mechanics of drawing the pistol from the holster from both open carry and concealment. Learn to draw your weapon, engage the threat, and return it to the holster safely and efficiently. What to bring: Your pistol, a quality holster, quality gunbelt, hearing and eye protection, 100 rounds of ammunition.
Learn the critical gun handling skills that you didn't learn in your concealed carry class! The Louisiana Concealed Carry Permit Class covers crucial safety and legal information that every permit holder must know, but aside from basic marksmanship, there is no instruction on the actual mechanics of carrying and employing a concealed firearm.
Marksmanship is the union of the two. FRC's 4 hour Accuracy and Precision Clinic will focus on refining your fundamentals and fine tuning your grip, trigger press, breathing, and follow through to help you develop a high level of both metrics. What to bring: Your pistol, a quality holster or case, minimum of 3 magazines, hearing and eye protection, and 150 rounds of appropriate caliber ammunition for your handgun.
