I was born, raised and chose to live in Stark County. I graduated from Tuslaw High School in 1990 with honors, Walsh University in 1994 Summa Cum Laude and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1998. I came home to marry my incredible wife, Dawn, after much persuasion! We currently have 2 teenagers, so pray for us!

Having moved from out of state, I recently transferred my care to Dr. Smith upon a friend's referral. The recommended was correct despite my extreme apprehension over a practice which doesn't use nitrous oxide for anxiety. The staff couldn't have been more correct that the dental hygienist and Dr. Smith were understanding and made me feel completely at ease. It made me wonder if the laughing gas wasn't just a crutch all along. Despite being highly anxious for any dental work, I just had my second appointment and still feel the same. I would endorse Dr. Smith and his staff any day.

Today was our 1st visit to The office I'm always a little nervous on finding someone new.I'm very picky.We just moved to the area so we had to change to a new dentist office. My 13 year old had the 1st appointment.I can say kids are very picky about things And just going in general He loved it and had great things to say about the staff.My son has never said that about any doctor or dentist that he's been too. I can say the staff Welcomed us as soon as we walked in he went back very quick and one of the staff members came out to check on me while my son was in the back just to update me. I would

Both Drs. Henzel and Smith are knowledgeable, professional, and personable. The office is well kept and clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I have seen several hygienists over the years and all of them do an excellent job with cleanings and other procedures. My family and I have been patients here for 20+ years and have not had a single bad experience. I recommend this practice to anyone looking for excellent dental care.

My husband Bud Knisely was in this morning had a cleaning and one tooth will have to be fixed. Set up his next appointment for the end of August. Everyone there is so nice. It was very nice to see a little school bus as we entered it's being filled for school children we thought that was awesome. We seen the need to help also. Thanks to Dr's. Henzel and Smith and the entire staff all are great.

I had a bad toothache and went to see Dr. Steven Smith. He carefully explained my two options. I made my decision and he extracted the tooth. He did an excellent job with the shots for numbing. He gave the right amount of local anesthesia so I didn’t feel a thing. He explained the whole procedure before he started. Once he started the procedure he explained everything he was doing and why he had to do what he was doing. I had something a little unusual about the tooth being extracted and he explained that to me and what he needed to do to remedy the situation. His assistant was excellent. When

I had two front teeth bonding done. I have never had any pain or sensitivity with the teeth prior to this. Dr.S Smith ground down to the dentin below the gum line, etched the entire surface of both teeth and I went from having reasonably white front teeth to yellow, sensitive and drilled out exposed dentin. I can not ever reccomend Dr.Smith. The work is extremely poor and costs are high considering the end result.
