Loved the hotel. Funky place in a good location was for us. Easy to get into town, but away from things a bit. Definitely a unique experience. Enjoyed the art and whimsy on display throughout the hotel. Even enjoy the message when calling the hotel. We ended up in a red and it was as advertised. Roof top bar is a nice perk as well, but was the only downside. We entered and the bartender and two servers saw us come in and told us we could sit anywhere. Waited an excessive time, before we assumed it must not be table service. When I walked to the bar, the two servers seemed irritated and I could

Wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We had a great time in our king bedroom! The valet Service was great! The location was really good as it was close to the zoo, the hill, and the botanical gardens. The rooms and lobby was really cool and had lots of art on display! My wife and I will definitely consider staying here again!

My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. Due to Christmas, there was noone to valet our vehicle But we didn't mind. It's a very gorgeous, unique place. Very quiet! I picked the green room. They could do a better job cleaning. The curtains were covered with dust and so was the ledge in front of the window, including gum wrapper left behind. The bathroom floor was sticky and contained a dirt spot. The shower could've used some cleaning as well. Other than that, it was nice stay. Breakfast is not included in rental stay unless you pay while booking your room or you can pay Separately. There is no

If you’re booking in St. Louis and looking for a truly unique experience, this is it. This was our second stay at the Angad (our first time was three years ago) and we had a green room. The materials throughout are of high quality and and the queen room layout was great. They could do some deep cleaning (dusting behind nightstands, cleaning the grout in the bathroom, etc.), but I attribute these things to staffing shortages and consider them somewhat trivial, as the main areas you would typically access were clean. I can’t wait to stay again and experience a different color.

Al the valet man was our favorite part of the whole stay. He was not only helpful, but extremely personable and welcoming. We’d come back just for him! I’m giving four stars because I could tell the room wasn’t fully cleaned (stuff on the comforter, dirty glasses, tabletops weren’t wiped down). It was a shame because the hotel is gorgeous and unique. If they get the cleaning down better it would be 5 stars for me. Also, please give Al a raise and an extra space heater in the winter! That man is a treasure.

This is a really neat hotel that I wish I had more time to explore. The blue room was perfectly decorated and had everything we needed. We had none of the usual issues with small city hotels - noise from the street, hallway, etc. Our room had a view off to the side of the Fabulous Fox. The lobby area on the top floor is a bit confusing, but such a cool room! It is worth taking the time to look at all the art if you are staying here.

Very positive and great experience. I didn't think it was a hotel at first glance. From the outside it looks like a apartment but after going inside changed my mind. Very clean, staffs were professional and friendly. The room was beautiful and clean. Great location in the arts district and very close to the VA hospital too. I highly recommend the Tavern located on the first floor. Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

James (manager) was absolutely fantastic! Drinks were made for us and didn't meet his standards and he remade our two drinks himself! And they were delicious. I highly recommend the Gin Fizz Punch and the New York Sour. Service was great as well! Taylor (server)

Got a GREAT room last weekend for my wedding last weekend. I don’t usually leave reviews, but everything was excellent — the restaurant was awesome, room was everything we wanted, and the staff was all super kind to all of us and our wedding party.
The only problem was management. Twice, I passed by management accosting lower level employees. Once on Sunday w/ custodial (the employee being accosted had actually helped me before and — I can not stress — how helpful she was) and once on Monday w/ valet (I didn’t interact with that employee at all, but those in my party said the valet was

Art Bar review only:
Madison was an amazing server. Personable, prompt, gave excellent suggestions and was attentive the entire visit. The food was delicious however the Sri is were sub par and we had to order additional shots or adjust each drink k which was a bit off putting. As frequent diner's we equate bad drinks to bad food. Although I won't allow this to tarnish the entire experience I would highly suggest management address the bar tending. Paying $12-$20 for a watered down, garnished cocktail is unacceptable.

Angad Arts Hotel is the crown jewel of our cross-country road trip. We were upgraded to a nicer room upon check-in and everyone at the hotel made us feel welcome. The yellow room was beautiful, comfortable, and immaculately clean. The mattress we had was perfect in terms of firmness and there was attention to detail in all aspects of our stay. We wish we lived in the Angad. It's lovely and our family's most positive and memorable hotel experience. Parking was easy and we felt safe in terms of both masking protocols being followed and with the physical security of our two vehicles.

Such a super cool and chic hotel. There's lots of artwork on display all throughout the building, some of it interactive. You choose your room color, be it red, yellow, blue, or green. Our green king suite was large and comfortable with the bedroom separated from the living room. The linens are ultra plush, and the bathroom is stocked with quality Molton Brown products.
As you explore the hotel, you'll find a reading room full of books and publications, and the music room with a variety of stringed instruments for playing. You must enjoy a drink at the rooftop bar, offering a fabulous

I know nothing about the hotel side of this establishment. This review is solely about the art bar in the hotel. Drinks are overpriced and not good. There is one bartender who makes great drinks and the others appear to just be in training. The staff is professional and pleasant and the space has a great view.

My fiancé and I stayed here for his birthday, and we had the greatest time! We live in University city, so for us this was a treat of a staycation. From the moment you walk in you are treated with a local artists exhibit, which was super fun to walk around and discover. It was interactive as well which my fiancé's inner child loved. We had the option of room color upon check in, we picked blue! It was very tranquil and relaxing and well decorated. The whole hotel is super chic and dope. It's the perfect place for a girls night or date. The rooftop Art Bar was incredible and the staff

How can we celebrate Father's Day but still socially distance. You do a staycation, take additional Lysol spray, and have a picnic in the room. We had very friendly service, with everyone having on masks. The room was very clean, and i was happy there were few guests.
The room is beautiful and the blue was very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. The tub is deep and comfortable. Huge windows with great light when you want it and nice dark blue curtains for when you don't. I'm excited to go back when everything is open and update my review.

I never wanted to leave this hotel y'all. I fell in love with the Angad upon first glance of the first floor just to realize that wasn't even the official hotel lobby!
The founder of this hotel seriously ripped a page from my thoughts and put all of my creativity and day dream thoughts into reality. It was like every random burst of happiness was thrown into this hotel.
I loved every single second of my stay here including the snowmageddon (I'm from the South so I'm not used to snow) in early December which left me spending a whole day exploring the hotel.
