Physical therapists diagnose, manage, and treat disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system including rehabilitation before and after orthopaedic surgery. Our physical therapists specialize in, and have successfully treated, thousands of patients who have had total knee and hip replacements, rotator cuff repairs, low back pain, tendonitis, osteoporosis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, sports injuries, and balance issues.
Balance problems can make it hard for people to maintain stable posture and stay upright when standing, walking, and even sitting. Balance problems are more common in older adults. They are the most common reason they seek help from a doctor. If balance problems go untreated, they can lead to falls.
Vertigo may be due to an inner ear, or vestibular disorder. Physical Therapists often specialize in an area of therapy called vestibular rehabilitation, in which therapists work to improve the symptoms of dizziness and the balance problems that you may experience. Therapy for vestibular disorders takes many forms.

After a skilled surgeon, the next step toward a successful recovery from joint replacement, is the right Physical Therapy group. I found that at AIR PT! Dan, Erica, and Ryan are thoroughly knowledgeable, personable, and great motivators! I felt this group was vested in my progress, yet sensitive to how well I adjusted to each new exercise. Without reservation I highly recommend this professional staff. Kudos for a nurturing atmosphere where my goal of full function was restored.
