Fantastic location, even the drive in is fun. Beds are comfortable, place is clean, no noise issues. Really, the only thing that dinged it one star are the descriptors. I would not call this a B&B despite the offerings in the room (which are nice, but limited). The "3.5 star hotel" descriptor on Priceline is strange and it's a far away experience from that, though quite charming. Lastly, the Google listing has it with A/C which is incorrect. The proprietor is extremely welcoming and kind but quite direct. They even gave me some extra batteries for my headlamp when mine ran out. I would emphasize

Fantastic service! Very personable and accommodating. We got last minute reservations, and unfortunately had to leave before we could tour the lava tube. Beautiful, out of the way setting, very peaceful. A little tricky to find after dark, but follow the directions they give you and you’ll be fine.

Great Bed n Breakfast location and a tour of the pristine lava tube w/o crowds. Lava tube not recommended for city slickers. You have to traversed fallen loosely and jagged lava rock piles, after descending down a ladder. Light sources are from hard hats and hand held flashlights. The lava tube is about 200 yards in length and take around 45 minutes to reach the end. The area come to life with the sounds of the Coqui frogs in the evening.

Wow - what a special gem to find! This property is absolutely gorgeous. Dense jungle, thoughtful landscaping, and a hot tub!! We explored the property and surrounding neighborhoods for an afternoon walk and had such a special time here.
Our room was perfect - clean, accommodating and cozy. Snacks!!! Coffee!
Shannon - your kindness and hospitality will never be forgotten. Thank you so much for having us. You made our exploration of the Big Island shine so much brighter, thanks again.

Every once in a while, you're cold, wet, and SOL. So you call the nearest lodge hoping for a room NOW. And they say, sure. Then you get there. And it's an incredible garden with a hidden hot tub. The whole building is built by the hands of one of the most creative and imaginative craftsman on the islands. And every room is full of hidden secrets hidden by reclaimed wood and mermaid memorabilia and underneath it all is a lavar cavern the side of a football field, should you decide to explore it. Ask for the mermaid room or the suit on the top right. Pay cash.

The honeymoon suite was welcoming and cozy after a long day playing in the rain. I can’t say enough about how comfortable the mattress was. A must stay if visiting Volcanoes area.

This place is awesome! I highly recommend a stay here. The on property lava tube is amazing, especially due to the fact the lava tube at the park is currently closed due to covid restrictions. We loved the jungle hot tubbing too!
