Hi, I am Dr. Leah or as many kiddos call me, just Leah because sometimes using the word Doctor can be scary! At Vive our goal is to meet your family where you are at along your health journey and increase your adaptability to stressors; physical, chemical, and emotional; all with support and love. No matter where you are in life right now things can get better, be better, and stay better.
We are ever changing beings and we all need a little help along the way. I grew up in Jefferson, IA and my parents still live in the same house they brought me home to. I feel very fortunate to have such supportive and caring parents. I have two older siblings; a brother and a sister whom have blessed me with 4 nephews.

When your child has a properly functioning nervous system, they are able to thrive in their own life and connect to the world around them. Most of the time, dysfunction of the nervous system begins in mama's belly or during the birthing process. The space becomes very tight towards the end of pregnancy and delivery, whether it be vaginal or C-section, and tends to be a very stressful event.
That is a great question. Ideally, we'd love to see you as soon as possible because (as you already know) large changes are taking place within your body even though your baby is only the size of a blueberry. We may be able to help with morning sickness, heartburn, extreme fatigue, headaches, and other common symptoms in early pregnancy.
We would love to be an addition to that circle as we help support your journey towards true health. We understand that life is not always easy - work can be stressful, getting the kids (or yourself) ready can be overwhelming, and sometimes it's easier to order a pizza than to cook a healthy meal. We understand because we have felt the same exact things before!

Here at Vive we love to see full families getting adjusted together and parents showing their kids how to stay healthier in a holistic manner. More and more research is showing that our genes actually are NOT as big of a factor as lifestyle and environmental stressors. Often, when we see illnesses and diseases continuing throughout a family lineage, we have to assess those lifestyle and environmental issues.

I have had two corrections on my neck with Leah, since then I am able to fully turn my head left and right with no pressure or tension or pain! Leah is amazing and explained every thing to you so you understand what is going on! I can’t wait to see what happens down the road from now with my health and body!

Dr. Leah is a caring, knowledgeable resource that Jefferson is lucky to have! We have taken our sons to Dr. Leah starting at 4 days old for care and she’s helped alleviate so many problems our babies are too small to voice that they have. Our first son had ZERO ear infections during his first year of life thanks to adjustments from Dr. Leah! Our… infant son Luke was seen for tension issues and sudden crying outbursts of pain during his 2nd week of life and Dr. Leah fit us in immediately! Since being seen, he’s a different baby- less tense, less upset, and sleeping better at night

Dr Leah and her mom make an amazing team. Dr Leah’s mom Ginny is extremely nice; she first welcomes you into their office with a sincere smile and a kind voice. She’s extremely helpful and always keeps the office tidy and clean. Dr Leah is an absolutely amazing chiropractor. She is very knowledgeable, and she knows how to help people. When she did my initial assessment, I was so surprised to know how my cranial nerves were not talking well to the rest of the body. There was so much to learn from the first assessment. Dr. Leah makes every patient feel special and takes great care of everyone in the family! she listens, on time, friendly, and best of all, knowledgeable on everything you may ask! the staff is beyond friendly, with healthy snacks, water, and coffee available at all times in her office. Dr Leah has helped my 18 month old in more ways than I can imagine. Shes always been a horrible sleeper and so many people told me to just let her cry but I just couldn't do it. My mom gut told me it wasnt just a fuss. She was in pain and after getting her scanned and realizing that I was right and setting up a plan with Dr Leah, she now sleeps so much better which means mom sleeps better :) Thank you Dr Leah!

Dr. Leah has an approach to chiropractic I have not seen before. She does a great job of explaining what needs to be done and a plan for doing it. She is very willing to work with your schedule and has great care plans for your whole family, because she is out of network. I would highly recommend Dr. Leah!
