I have used this company on an ongoing basis since 2012. Allison, the owner is one of the most knowledgeable and caring contractors I have ever met. She cares about doing everything 100% correctly and above and beyond code. Remember Mike Holmes from HGTVs Holmes on Homes? The guy who would be called in after another crappy contractor screws up their homes and he would remedy and do everything correct? Allison is the female version of him.
She isn't going to be your cheapest option, but that is because she does everything above board, has all of the licenses and insurance, and keeps

I was excited to support a female contractor, Allison Allain, owner of PCI Builders, to remodel our two bathrooms, but was quickly disappointed by her unprofessional behavior.
She starts with a two phase proposal which includes the Planning and Designing phase and the Construction phase. Our planning phase proposal was $12,500 with no change of floor plan layout! $6,000 was for planning and $6500 was for drawings, floor plans, and going to the city to pull permits. When I explained to her that none of the other 3 contractors who had given me bids mentioned drawings, she claimed that they weren
