Annual eye exams are critical to the early detection of a host of eye diseases, many of which can result in significant vision loss. Prevention and early detection is the best defense towards maintaining good vision for years to come. With so many potential eye diseases and disorders in our population, Dr. Dente strongly encourages and practices a very proactive approach regarding eye health and wellness.
Our office is conveniently located at 169 Mine Brook Rd. (across from Town Hall) and is accessible via all major roads. We take great pride in our level of thoroughness and utilize state of the art equipment to ensure no disease or abnormality goes undetected. Our friendly and competent staff is dedicated to your comfort and quality of care during your office visit.
The optical dispensary carries a wide range of frames and lenses from basic to designer. Regardless of your frame or lens choice, each one has been hand-selected to meet our personal standards. A written eyeglass prescription from the doctor is only half of the equation. The frame and eyeglass lens type (brand or design) are crucial elements in obtaining superior vision and functionality with your new eyewear.
Bernards Eye Care & Dr. Dente participate with most major medical health plans, many eye conditions are covered under your medical insurance carrier, minus any copays, coinsurance, or deductibles you may have. For annual eye exams & eyewear, we participate with VSP (Vision Service Provider).
