You may enroll in our Direct Deposit Program. If weekly timecards are turned in by Sunday at midnight, then your weekly pay is directly deposited into your selected checking or savings account and is available on Friday in accordance with your banks' policy. Emerald, as the "employer of record" will assume the role of benefit administrator, processing eligible staff through the Kaiser Enrollment protocols.

My initial contact with Emerald Staffing was great I thought to myself this agency really stands out compared to the other agencies that I had signed up with. I felt very comfortable speaking the recruiter we talked about my skills and what I was looking for.

I have worked with other staffing agencies in the past. My experience with Emerald was quite different. I wasn't at all expecting to feel so comfortable or the surroundings to be so aesthetically pleasing. Normally it's bare walls a few chairs, a fake ficus tree and an endless views of cubicle land with people less than excited to be there. Emerald is warm, inviting and friendly.

Can't say enough wonderful things about this agency and the great staff! From the very first step they were extremely helpful, very open and honest about what jobs they might have and what they would do to advocate for me. Nick always called me with a new opportunity (about once a week until I was hired), and was very open about the position and what might be expected from it as a workplace (the kind of work, people, and pay expected). In the end, they placed me with a job I wouldn't usually have picked for myself but I'm so incredibly happy with the job and everything it comes with

Pretty upset. I applied online, I called them and they said to look on there website to see if I was interested in anything particular. So I looked online even though I told them what I was looking for, went I thought it was there job to tell you what they have. So I called back and I told them I was interested in a position, only to hear that there website hasn't been updated for a while now. And that job was posted in the fall. I applied for a specific job on a job board posting and was contacted for an interview and meeting with a recruiter. I arrived early at the location for my appointment, and waited 15 minutes past my appointment time with no explanation given for the delay. I have been super pleased with my experience with Emerald Staffing! They got me into a job in a WEEK. If you're in the medical field, they have some really good contracts. +The people who work here are all SO nice!

When I first moved out here to Portland I was excited that I got a call back from this place. But if I went their route I probably would have been broke and homeless while waiting for the phone to ring. I was actively looking for a job and I found more luck on my own. I think Nick meant well, but even times when I would call my messages would go unanswered. I didn't feel like I matter and getting a job is about people's livelihood. Unfortunately, this staffing agency is not effective for serious job hunting. This was the third time I have been here in about 3 years and each time the position I'm called in for is not mentioned and I never hear back on anything else even though I'm told I've got a great resume. You would be better off spending time at other agencies.

I applied for a position on a job board with my resume and got a call later that day to come in for an interview. I drove all the way to Lake Oswego from Vancouver for this interview only for them to tell my I'm not even qualified for the position I applied for... Its like they didnt even read my resume I had sent them when I applied for the job... They also said they would help me find a job that better met my qualifications. Havent heard back still. Oh, and their application asks for you're social security number. Forget that. Awful agency

I contacted Emerald when I first moved to the state and had a good experience with the interview, but never heard from them again. I had to reach out to them a couple of times afterward and received the same room temperature response that they would "let me know as soon as something matches my profile." They also suggested I "search Indeed for their name" to find jobs they are posting too. Meanwhile, my boyfriend used another staffing company in the area and has successfully found many temp jobs. I just moved back home to the area from Southern California.I contacted Emerald because I saw a job posted I was interested in. I set an appointment with Brittney Cox and went in to interview the next day. After meeting with her she had a few opportunities in mind for me. She sent me the standard tests and set up an interview with one of the companies for the very next day. I was offered the job the same day! Recently moved to the Portland area from another state. Called and set up an appointment to meet with Emerald Staffing to help me find a new job. Met with Cory who was friendly and very helpful. She set me up with an interview for a job that she felt I was a great fit for and I ended up loving them and they loved me and was hired the next day after my interview with the employer. This was my second time trying to use Emerald for employment opportunities. Same as the first time, after they have you come into their very loud office where none of their "recruiters" even have cubicles its just one large area in the open and you can hear everyone's business. There is no follow up or follow through. Its always you checking in with a recruiter and waiting days for a reply. They get you excited about potential openings then no follow through. I took a contract through Volt Staffing...second time with them, they had me placed in about two weeks and always emailed

I had almost the exact same experience as others who posted reviews. I submitted a qualified resume for a specific job on their website. They called me the same day and asked me to come in and interview. Everyone was very nice and friendly. I interviewed for the position and the person I interviewed with, Cory, said I was a great fit and she would contact the employer to set up a direct interview.
