Raven Heating & Air Conditioning can repair, upgrade or replace your residential furnace and air conditioning system with special attention to the needs of your home and family. We'll visit your home to survey the inside and outside, and talk with you about goals for your family's comfort. We always work with a written estimate and contract for both your protection, and ours, and can schedule our work around your daily schedule.

Dave replaced our furnace and added air conditioning to our house in Novato. He also moved it all into the attic, allowing us to use the old heater closet for storage. Finally, he installed all new ducting. Our new system heats and cools our house rapidly and much more efficiently than our old system.

Dave and his staff are truly great people to hire. Professional, knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, trustworthy, responsive...that is what I experienced with Raven Heating.
When my old heater died, Dave gave me a quote for a high efficiency replacement. I felt confident in his recommendation and very fair price. The installation done efficiently, cleanly, and professionally. He also took care of the permit process.
As a added bonus, I was blown away by the service after the sale. When I had a problem, Dave came over quickly and fixed it immediately.

Dave was awesome. Answered his phone at 4:30 on a Friday that was triple digits. Showed within 30 minutes even though he was slammed and they close at 5. He walked me through what he was doing and why? He had the problem diagnosed and fixed within 30 minutes. What a lifesaver! I would easily recommend him.

We had our furnace go out this past winter during a cold spell. We called another local company who asked for $200 to look at the furnace, after looking into the problem and quoting a price to fix the next day they failed to show back up or meet any of their promises. They tried to charge us $950 for parts, plus a trip fee and a diagnosis fee. When the other company failed to show up again for their return visit I called Raven Heating and Air on a Saturday. I received a prompt call back from Dave, and a same weekend appointment. They showed up quickly assessed the issues and had the parts on hand

Dave, and his team at Raven were fantastic for our installation of a new furnace and AC. We got many bids, and Raven's was extremely competitive. I never felt Dave was trying to sell me anything we didn't need (something I can't say for some of the other bids we got), but he also made a few great suggestions regarding the units and installation. He clearly is knowledgeable and skilled at what he does. He also knows the permitting requirements and process well.

A friend recommended Raven for air conditioner installation. I got estimates from Raven and three other AC contractors and could not find anyone to beat their price. Dave (the owner) and his crew installed the system quickly and efficiently and with a great attitude. Dave was on hand throughout to answer all questions and make it a smooth experience that went without a hiccup. We have had a few days now to enjoy relief from the afternoon Novato heat and can report we are happy with the system.

Dave provided me with a truly "Best of" experience from the first time I called. Not only did they answer the phone, but quickly set the wheels in motion to get my questions answered and visit my house because I questioned what another local HVAC company told me -- the other guys said "Oh yea, you need to replace the whole system." I don't know
a lot about how A/C works, but the explanation given was deficient and did not make sense. So, I asked my neighbor who grew up in Marin if he knew anyone. Sure enough, Dave figured out what the other company missed. It was a $100

Raven is excellent. Dave is very friendly and knows his stuff. He put in a new furnace and AC for us 10 years ago and added dual zone about 5 years ago. I called him today because our AC stopped working over night last night, and he came out today and fixed it in less than 20 minutes. He knew it was the condenser before he even looked at the unit, and that is exactly what it was. Great service and great guy.

Dave is the man. I'm not a big writer of reviews but this is necessary. My AC went out a few years ago, we had it looked at by two different companies that will remain unnamed, and they both said that I'd have to get a whole new unit. Bids from both companies were a lot more than we ever anticipated and as a result we decided to just table it. For the past few years we've gotten by without it; luckily the house is well insulated. With last summer being the hottest on record (not an alternative fact) it was a bit unpleasant and we knew that this year we'd have to bite the bullet
