Owners Christine San Antonio and Julia Wyper are cousins who grew up in a tight-knit family in Massachusetts. Both followed the same career path and, although they began their professional careers across the country in Texas and California, they both brought their skills and experience back to Massachusetts.

In 2004 they opened their out-patient practice with a focus on providing the one-on-one patient care that has become a hallmark of their services. Through their years of practice they brought experiences from almost every field of therapy including in-patient acute care, rehab, skilled nursing, home health, pediatrics, women's health, and out-patient therapy.

Where I'm from: Grew up in upstate NY, MA for college, and been here since. Fun Fact: I learned German in high school, took French in college, but started dreaming in German-at that point I had forgotten most of it and had no idea what was happening! Fun Fact: I have been to the Winter Olympics (as a spectator, definitely not as an athlete!)
It's made up of a chain of bones and discs, ligaments, and nerves and provides the main support for our entire body. Any injury that occurs in our spine can be the cause of limited mobility and pain. When you have acute or chronic pain in your back everything becomes more difficult. It can be hard to have patience when you have chronic pain.
These injuries can effect ligaments, tendons, muscles, bones and joints. While common in athletes due the amount of force the body undergoes during many sporting activities, orthopedic injuries can also occur due to aging with wear and tear, overuse, repetitive movements.

No one likes to be limited by a physical condition, whether it is not being able to participate in a sporting event, weekend jog, or having difficulties with normal daily activities. Our physical therapists will work you to develop an individualized treatment plan with your goals in mind. Treatment plans include injury specific manual therapy, exercise, education and a home exercise program.
For people who experience Vertigo it is usually much greater than an annoyance and really interferes with activities of daily living. This can be very frustrating but can be treated! The way anyone who has experienced this malady explains it describes it as feeling like the room or the world is spinning around you.
Physical therapy is an effective and conservative approach to treating these musculoskeletal dysfunctions. At your initial appointment your therapist will ask you questions, go over treatment options and see what you are comfortable with and explain what future visits will be like. This will help your physical therapist determine the best course of treatment for your needs.
