Services
H & H Karate was established in 2009. The owner, Donald Hickok, has 20 years of martial arts experience including Tae-Kwon-Do, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, and much more. He has been teaching for 16 years, and his ability to teach students of any age is second to none. Classes start for children four years of age and older.
The basic karate program is designed for our 8 to 12-year old students. In this program, H & H Karate focuses on the basics of martial arts, simple combinations, self-defense, and forms. Our basic curriculum will build the skills needed for their future in martial arts by focusing time into the basics, so the student has a great understanding of the technique.
H & H Karate has a separate program for students aged 13 and above. This program moves at a slightly accelerated pace. All teens and adults are in class together, so we work on a variety of martial arts techniques / curriculum. Our teen and adult classes are typically much smaller than our kid's classes, so this means more individual attention for you.
The Warrior and Ninja programs at H & H Karate have the same week-to-week structure, but each has its own curriculum. Little warrior program is for our 4 and 5-year old students, while the Ninjas program is for our 6 and 7-year old students. The curriculum is based on individual focus, ability, and needs of each age group.
H & H Karate has a newly added fitness area inside the studio. It is a separate area where adults can work out even while classes are going on. There are some very high-end pieces of equipment including ellipticals, treadmills, exercise bikes, weights, and more. H & H Karate has also invested in a state-of-the-art infrared sauna.

H&H Karate is a family first! And a Karate where students will learn confidence, pride, and a sense of real purpose! The Hickok’s are the kind of people that inspire. Our child has absolutely grown in maturity and integrity while in this family. Mr. Hickok and his staff always teach with kindness and attention. This is a safe and secure place to find a great experience and something meaningful of which you can be a part of. For the price, it’s a lot of fun and huge value!

This was the best decision we have made as a family. Our 6 year old son has been in karate for 2 years now and then I, mom joined. Once our daughter turns 4, we will have her join and then daddy will too. Mr. H is an amazing teacher. He and his wife are fantastic and caring. They make this studio feel like a family.....a karate family.

I was not a fan of my grandchildren being in karate when it was first suggested. My grandson was 4, and I could not see what positives would be gained from him learning karate punches and kicks. I will be the first to admit that I was wrong. My 6 year old granddaughter is enrolled also now. They are learning so much more, including self control,… focus, and respect, all in a positive atmosphere. Everything they are taught at home is reinforced, and they are given a physical challenge. They work on their skills but also learning so much more! They are part of a community and while they are
