With access to two manufacturing facilities, Virginia Homes Building Systems optimizes the 300,000 square feet of production space and produces over 1,000 living units per year, including multi-family, ranch, cape, and two-story homes. In addition to residential homes, Virginia Homes Building Systems produces apartments, dormitories, schools, and other light commercial structures.

You might be surprised, but the quality engineering and modular construction of Virginia Homes Building Systems is in many ways superior to on-site, stick built construction. For starters, our climate controlled facilities allow us to build 12 months of the year, without exposure to rain and moisture.
A modular building is a custom-designed structure built in sections called modules. The module sections are constructed in an off-site production facility, then delivered to the intended site and set on a foundation as a permanent structure. Construction of the modules, in most cases, is 95% complete prior to shipment.
The modular building process begins as soon as a builder presents Virginia Homes Building Systems with a concept. Our design team quickly creates a preliminary plan based on the information provided by the builder. That same information is entered into our sophisticated order entry and design system enabling us to design the structure, as well as produce an accurate estimate for the project.
