I was sitting in front of the smoke shop one day taking a drag of some dragon balls and all of a sudden I had cops walking up both sides of me because they were going to eat at the restaurant tripped me out but it was cool it's a good restaurant

I am really pleased with Stars Restaurant, I have really enjoyed my meals there over the last year or so. I enjoy the food from there close to once a week these days and they seem to continually improve. I just tried the bbq chicken sandwich tonight and it was delicious. The more I try the more I like.

Place has improved substantially and consistently. I have to give them credit. I have had a few meals here over the last month and they have all been very good. One of ukiahs better midscale restaurants at this point.

Their pastas are delicious! My daughter had the cajun omg so good. I had the shrimp alfredo sooo good!! And they serve more then enough!!! I love stars!! My grandson 💘 had as you can see the Mickey pancakes 😋

The food was good, but the service was the slowest I've had in many, many years. It took more than 15 minutes for my server to even acknowledge my presence, and the restaurant wasn't even that busy. After I ordered, it took another half hour for my food to be brought to the table. If you have plenty of time to spare, this place is fine. But if you're in a hurry, I recommend you go elsewhere.

Great food, great atmosphere, great and friendly wait staff! I've gone to stars for birthdays, graduations, and everything in between. I love this place, but.. I gave it 4 stars because we went here tonight and the flies were INSANE. My son and I had to keep swatting at the them stay away from our food. Other than that, awesome place! Erica is super friendly!

My wife and I love love love this place! They're menu is huge and we've yet to order something that wasn't amazing. Plus they serve breakfast all day, how can you beat that? From the hash browns to the milkshakes this place rocks. We've eaten there a handful of times and the service has been welcoming and wonderful! L

I would give them less stars if I could. Arrived just after 6, waiting 15 minutes for menu after being seated, another 15 minutes for her to come back and take the order then after waiting well over an hour I requested my dinner be prepared to go. It was thrown in a box un cooked. I ordered the ground sirloin (I've ordered many times) they threw 2 hamburger under cooked hamburger patties and un-toasted bread.The onion and mushrooms toppings were raw and barely warmed. A deeply comfortable and low-key family restaurant that is not a chain! This is the sort of business that a person that feels completely at home in. Healthy and reasonably priced food options pair perfectly with a spacious hometown feel. This is the perfect place to have a late night conversation over dessert, or enjoy some lunch as you get a thing or two done for your work day at the same time. The staff and management are sincere conscientious and pleasant.

We are visiting Ukiah and found Stars on Yelp, and so glad we did. I had spaghetti, which was excellent. After being on the road for so long, it was nice to have a meal that was fantastic in every way. Hubby had the Cobb wrap and potato salad. It was massive and he said it was delish. We may bow back tonight!

Good food but patio WAS NOT HEATED as advertised so I was very cold.
The heated patio lured me in but I was freezing .

We got takeout of the pasta a la diana for $18 and reuben for $16. Both were 4 stars. Hits the spot.

Ordered potato skins + a lot of other food from them on door dash. No ranch was put given to us. We hop in our car and drive down to ask about our ranch, lady says you have to chose ranch or sour cream from door dash menu, (we were given neither btw) take her word for it, she stingily gives us one small side of ranch for 8 large potato skins. We leave and go buy a bottle from store adjacent to them. Get home check door dash menu, realize she was full of sh*t. There is no menu to chose ranch or sour cream and any menu I can pull up says it's served with ranch. Foods average, now being cold

We had a great breakfast had this restaurant. The staff are nice and welcoming. They have the outside dining set up to make you feel comfortable and safe! Thank you!

Always a good experience! The cucumber hummus bites and the citrus salad are to die for.

Our favorite local diner. We came here for breakfast and dinner once in a whole food was good. The service even better. Price are reasonable. Clean and pleasant dining area.

My wife and I were passing through Ukiah on our way north to our son's Thanksgiving celebration and we stopped at Star's for lunch. This is a good restaurant with a large menu, friendly staff, and tasty food.

I was feeling like only a light lunch and felt like a large bowl of chili. Unfortunately, I did not see it on the menu. I asked the server if they had chili and was pleased that they did (they make it for other dishes as an accompaniment), even though it was not on the menu. It was just what I wanted and very good ($5.45).

Vegetarian choices are exceptionally good; outstanding.

Breakfast served ALL day??? Yes please! If you have a sudden craving for an omelet, eggs Benedict, or a simple steak and eggs, then head on over!

Lots of choices from their menu, including a vegetarian section. I got the eggs Benedict with turkey, avocado, and diced fresh tomatoes. Hubby got a yummy steak sandwich on a roll with a side of golden cooked fries.

Really generous portions and I'm following a gluten free plus dirty keto diet...so there are many options to choose from!

Best waffles in Mendo County. I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered.The wait staff are fast and courteous. It's a bit pricey, over $50 for two people to have breakfast. $7 for two sides of toast. If you dont mind spending a little bit more than usual, the food is good.

Very excited we came and ate here. Service was friendly and very consistent. We had the Star Benedict and a BBQ salad and it was delicious!

Great fresh homestyle taste to all of the food. VERY filling. Excellent service as well, our waitress was very attentive and cheerful.
Our booth was clean, the restaurant wasn't overly loud, but still busy. $15 - $25 dollar plates.

The service was very good but my breakfast was kind of lame.

I'd say that my food was 2 stars. But the service was 4 stars. So I'm being generous and averaging them out to 3 stars.

I had an expensive "meat lovers omelette" that was pretty sad, with hardly any meat (see photo)! And I had a $3.25 coffee that was burned up and pretty gross from sitting on the burner too long. I probably would have been better off going to Denny's - seriously.

The servers all seemed super nice and they were running all over like industrious, friendly, busy bees.

1: Stars wouldn't accept the 10% discount that was on Yelp
2: My niece ordered something off the kid menu, it came with a drink but she ordered water. When I asked if I could put my coke with her meal, I was told, no.

I mentioned I would be writing a bad review on Yelp, the manager stated, "that was fine, honest people have nothing to be worried about." Honest people, really! Like I am the dishonest person and he is a manager???? He definitely needs some managerial experience. I hope the owner reads this review.
