Precision Equipment Manufacturing started in 1999 when Bob Nelson purchased PEMNA, a Custom Fire Truck manufacturer. PEMNA built fire trucks for rural fire departments by taking used truck chassis', building new tanks, and installing pumps with new technology that small departments could afford.
As the market and economy changed these community fire departments got involved with government grants and charitable gambling, providing much greater means to purchase new trucks and equipment.It was time to retool. So using the name PEMNA as a basis, the name was changed to Precision Equipment Manufacturing of North America Inc. (PEMNA).

Precision Equipment MFG. also manufactures non expandable truss trailers in 40', 48', and 53' lengths to fit your demanding delivery needs. The gooseneck truss trailer is designed to haul your trusses into those neighborhoods and jobsites that are not typically accessible with longer expandable truss trailers.

The company I drive for purchased one of their truss trailers 10 months ago.
We have had so many problems with it. Constant air leaks at the fittings, hydraulic king pin always dropping within a few hours of not being hooked up to a tractor.
The rollers have never worked right and the load would come off unexpectedly!
Their solution for this was to have the trailer
lift remotely with a transponder in the cab with the driver. One was to slide tandems, completely release the rollers, hurry jump in the cab, release parking brake while raising trailer via said transponder. and if you are lucky
