After having purchased two used computers from another company here in Ventura, then having all sorts of problems that they did not ever even begin to correct, I took the laptop to another, supposedly reputable local computer service company, only to be misquoted by their staff, told what I already knew and charged $80 to accomplish absolutely nothing.

Have been using ACM Computers since early 2012. Had tried different computer repair services prior but for me, ACM is the best. All my encounters with different employees have been great! Their customer service is excellent and they are very respectful. So I haven't hesitated recommending ACM to family and friends if asked.
ACM does make service calls for a fee--but that is worth the extra $$s since I prefer to have a computer tower, which is heavy (am really old school!). However, sometimes they try to fix the issue remotely & the repair costs aren't exorbitant and well

My company, Anchor Printing, has been a long time client of ACM. While we fix most of our computer issues in house we cannot fix everything. When we have had an issue we could not correct we have called on ACM to come to the rescue and they have done exactly that everytime! Highly recommend ACM for all your computer and networking needs!

We had two computers blow out in less than two weeks. A morning of three electrical surges blew out one that hooked to a large scanner on which we were saving several decades of work, including family history materials that were not replaceable. Backing up the materials scanned got sloppy, to say the least. Took in the hard drive to try to retrieve the thousands of saved documents, only to find out that the scanner software was old, not supported and almost impossible to find any information on - the other documents on that hard drive were retrieved with no problem, and provided to us on a portable

I needed to upgrade my computer from XP and wanted a multi-monitor set up so I would be more efficient at work. ACM went over all my options and designed a system that would best fit my needs. Great service from this company! You can absolutely forget the bureaucratic nightmare at Best Buy's Geek Squad; their call centers are clueless! Anyway, this is the complete opposite. Every staff member I dealt with was friendly and knew how to help. Robert, our technician, was always on time. Robert was professional and super fun to have on the job.
So if you need help with ethernet, phone, sound, TV, WiFi, cameras, and anything else having to do with wires -- call ACM Computers.
Billing is also reasonable.

I've had computer dealings with ACM on and off for 10+ years. As with any computer, some problems persist, others are correctable. Our world relies on them with increasing dependency. A company like ACM is in the right place, right time. A competent staff, fair prices and excellent work ethic from all their service techs. They'll show up at your office/home for just about ANY problem. Trust me, I've tested this!

Never had less then a great experience here. They do what they say they are going to, they charge you very close to if not exactly the quoted price before they even check it out and they're timely and friendly! Likely not crooks, just totally incompetent. My laptop needing a new power plug has been there for over a week and a half and they are "still trying to fix it. After telling me it was done but they "needed to test it some more." When I suggested to solder a new plug shouldn't cost $140 labor the tech asked me if I had ever done that. We I replied that I had BS and MS in Electrical Engineering and 30 years working on large radars, he at last shut up. I guess I'll just have to take my laptop home, pay them there ransom and take them to small claims court. Won't have

Be wary of this place! Charged me $70 dollars to install a video card only to find out immediately after wards it literally takes 5-10 minutes to do. All my school courses are are online so i was stressed out to get my computer working, normally I'd of researched the issue after they told me the problem. Also over the phone the technician told me the replacement video card was better than my old one. BULL! Then they had the nerve to tell me when I wanted to upgrade my card I should come on back and they'll "take care of me"- yeah I bet. Thanks ACM for charging me $155 for a

Over the last couple of years, they slack. They say they will fix something and a month goes by and no calls. They don't return phone calls either. Then when you finally get your stuff back, it still isn't working correctly, and you pay an arm and a leg.
It's frustrating to say the least. If you say it will take you X amount of time to do something but you run into problems, fine. Just call me and tell me! Don't play games with me!

I really love this place. I took in my laptop to get my screen replaced (as I had dropped it), and they figured out how to register my computer under a warranty as I had just purchased it, and fix it with the warranty. Basically I ended up saving about 200 bucks (I have a touchscreen netbook) with these guys, because they were awesome enough to go out of their way to find out how they could fix my computer at an affordable cost.
I really recommend these guys, they're great! (also, they're all very nice)
