We're Ashley and Marleigh, and we are the team that makes up Lavender & Hops. We work hard to create an environment that is relaxing and both pampers and nourishes your hair and your soul. Ashley began Lavender & Hops Style Lounge in the fall of 2014. She was raised in Montgomery County and after moving away to the southern states for a few years.
It was time to bring all the knowledge she collected back to her hometown. Ashley enjoys making your blondes blonder and keeping the hair healthy as well as cutting curls for a beautiful bounce. Marleigh has been a part of the Lavender & Hops family since 2018 after graduating from the Paul Mitchell beauty school.

Can I say how grateful I am that you are here?! So, it is nice to meet you and I bet you are wondering what makes me so darn different than any other hair dresser out there? I jumped into this profession in 2002, I thought it would be a great profession for a farmers wife. Little did I take into account that there were very little farmers out there.
Marleigh has always had a passion for beauty, and is now able to live out her dream at Lavender & Hops. From an early age Marleigh was instilled with the love of the beauty industry. As a child she would paint her mom and sister's nails, and loved to help her mom's nail technician fill the acrylics.
At Lavender & Hops Style Lounge, one of our specialties is bridal and special occasion work. We love being a part of your special day and are honored to be considered to work with you during this time. Travel to your event is possible as well as full trial runs to help you feel as radiant as possible for your special day.
If you find yourself running behind we will do our best to accommodate your appointment. However, if you are more than 15 minutes late you will be asked to reschedule your appointment and will be subjected to our cancellation fee. We understand that life can throw us unexpected turns, however, we appreciate and require a 24-hour notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

Extremely flattering makeup - not cakey, not clowny - just perfect. Glowing, natural, flawless! Can't recommend them enough for both hair and makeup for a wedding.

Here's the deal - Lavender and Hops is amazing. I would recommend them to anybody. Not only are you getting big city service with the small town vibe, its like you're hanging out with your friends and just happen to leave with amazing hair. Going there is really more than "just a hair appointment." Going there IS self care. Its therapy. Whether you live nearby or drive for an hour to get there, it is 100% worth it.

I worked with Marleigh Burger from Lavender and Hops. She NAILED my wedding makeup! I was a little apprehensive because I don’t wear much of any makeup at baseline. She assured me that it would look natural and would be beautiful. My makeup was flawless and it didn’t move or come off at all, and I cried a lot that day. All of my bridesmaids were impressed with the makeup. She was on time, efficient and is nice to be around.

Here's the deal. The ladies that run this salon are AMAZING. I drive from Indy an HOUR to get my hair done here because they are THAT amazing. Seriously. Go check them out. The prices are beyond reasonable for the awesome, high-quality work you receive, everyone is crazy nice and so much fun, they're really interested in giving you the look you're wanting to have instead of the same copy and paste hair do you find everywhere else. Love this place!!

I recently moved to the area and chose Lavender and Hops strictly from their website and overall business model. I was able to book an appointment promptly. My experience here was delightful. I opted for the sun kissed highlight, (perfect for the winter blues) a cut, and a conditioning hair mask that kept my hair smelling lovely for days. Ashley Graham exceeded my expectations and I left the salon feeling like a princess. The customer service was outstanding and they had a very pleasant atmosphere. I will surely return. Highly reccomended!
