The number one complaint I hear from engaged couples about ceremonies they've attended is that they couldn't hear what was being said. And they'd like to avoid that for their wedding. Same? Don't worry, because your ceremony will be beautiful, it will be intimate, and everyone in attendance will hear every word spoken by you two, and your officiant.
Your ceremony has ended and now your guests are headed to the reception for the start of cocktail hour. The ambiance is set as they enter to your chosen background music, and there is a feeling of fun, excitement and festiveness in the air. And if you've chosen to have me provide full room uplighting, your guests will receive a visual "wow factor" as they enter the room glowing with color and warmth!
A symmetrical room with your guests surrounding a centrally located dance floor creates a centerpiece and focal point. Your guests will be able to see and hear every memorable moment without feeling like they are miles away from the action. This is called staging, and how it's chosen is very important to how connected your guests will feel during your celebration.
Uplighting is a great way to add the "wow factor" to your reception room. Choose one color, or have Brian change colors throughout the night, with each special event (cocktails, dinner, 1st dance, etc). When the formalities are over and the dance floor opens, the uplighting will become part of the dance lighting, glowing the entire room and adding an unbelievable energy surrounding the dance floor!
I'm Brian and I've been a DJ & MC for 20 years now. And if there is any DJ that understands the importance of moments like this, it's me.
