Sosai Masutatsu Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin Karate, was a martial arts legend. His constant desire was to learn how to make his body and mind the strongest they could possibly be. A masterful teacher, Sosai Oyama helped thousands of students to build a strong, durable body, a flexible, agile mind, and a strength of spirit that was, and remains, a pinnacle of martial arts.

Earning a blackbelt in Kyokushin karate is strenuous and requires consistent dedication and hundreds of hours of rigorous physical and mental training, persistence, and a willingness to never give up. Here are some members of our community who were willing to work to become the best versions of themselves.
We offer a range of classes to meet every need, whether you're a total beginner and have never done martial arts, are someone looking to achieve improved physical and mental health, are a competitive athlete, or have served as a police officer or in the military. We assess your existing physical and mental skills and build a customized developmental program to help you achieve your goals and aspirations.
Kyokushin tournaments provide an opportunity for students who wish to challenge themselves above and beyond normal training, and build relationships with people from around the region and world. Tournament competition is not required for training, which focuses primarily on holistic development of each individual.

My son and I have been attending training together since he was seven (he is 13 now). It has been a place of learning, growing and community. With lessons and growth not only applicable to physical attributes but also to attributes of character.

I am blessed to have started my martial arts career at Central Kyokushin. The blood (literally), sweat, tears, perseverance, and fulfilling training, have contributed to strengthening many aspects of my life, including my confidence, toughness, respect, brotherhood, and courtesy to others. I highly recommend training here, if you seek legitimate training in a tough, bare knuckle environment. Osu.
